Summary of the activities of the three countryside in 2019
From the 5th to the 9th of January, the Municipal Cultural Bureau and the Broadcasting and Television Bureau organized the fifth branch of the “Three Rural Areas” service group of culture, science and technology and health, and went to Gaogu Town, Yushan Town and Anzi Township of Pengshui County. Hanyu Town launched the activities of sending culture to the countryside. Our small team consisting of Song Jizhen, Long Hao, Su Shuliang, Jiang Yunqing and Huang Yong participated in the event. The activities are summarized as follows:

Sending books and magazines to the countryside To enrich the cultural life of urban and rural residents in Pengshui County, our library has allocated a sum of money from the limited purchase of books, and specially purchased a batch of new books from Xinhua Bookstore and presented them to the Pengshui County Library and Yushan. The town cultural station, the new book totals 272 books, worth 6986 yuan, the content is mainly literature and art, biography, science, inspirational and so on. Some of the books given were selected from the books obtained from the collection and exchange of our library. The journals sent are mainly donated by the Municipal Cultural Bureau and the Radio and Television Bureau, and a small number are donated to the staff of the museum.
This time, a total of 333 booklets and 410 volumes of journals were presented, totaling 743 books.
II. Preparation and Dissemination of Agricultural Materials According to the specific information needs of agricultural production in Pengshui County, our library collected, collated and compiled 70 pages of 28 topics including tobacco and edible lily, and printed a total of 35,000 pages. These materials were warmly welcomed by the people at the event site, and all the information was released.
Third, online information on-site inquiry In order to meet the needs of township people to query information, and let them have an intuitive understanding of the Internet information query methods, we have carried out online inquiry information services at each event venue. This service was welcomed by the people on the spot. They asked about 10 topics such as the cocoon purchase policy, the cultivation technology of Artemisia annua L. and the market situation, and the situation of direct selling companies.
IV. Training Activities During the training and training activities organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, our library undertook two reports on “Basic Library Management” and “Cultural Information Resource Sharing Project Overview and Resource Utilization”. The speakers were Dragon. Yan and Song Jizhen. In addition to publicity through training courses, the main publicity methods we adopt are exhibition mode, promotional materials, and computer presentation. This time, a total of 6 exhibitions were produced and displayed, and many people read the contents of the exhibition and discussed with us. More than 500 copies of the materials and services were distributed. The event played a certain role in promoting the sharing project.
VI. Sharing Project Base Level Installation In order to integrate the shared project with the rural China small distance education network, and let the Chinese small and residents in the remote areas enjoy the excellent cultural resources of the shared project, we have visited the Gaogu Town Middle School and the County Education Committee Audio-visual Station. , negotiated the installation of shared engineering resources. An agreement has been reached with the County Education Commission Audio-visual Station, which will increase the storage space of the server in the near future. After the Spring Festival, the museum will go to the installation. In this way, as soon as the new semester begins, dozens of Chinese teachers and students in Pengshui County and nearby residents can enjoy the information resources of the National Cultural Information Resources Sharing Project.
In short, this trip to the countryside has made us see the thirst for cultural services in towns and villages and a warm welcome to our activities. Although we can meet some of the needs of going to the countryside, due to the short time, the services and impacts provided are limited. In the future, we will make some improvements in the content, form, time, venue and preparation of the event, so that our cultural activities in the countryside will receive better results.
