In the beautiful island of Hainan, there are not only sea water, beaches, blue skies and fresh air. The Sofitel Boao Hotel is located at the mouth of the Wanquan River on the east coast, adjacent to the Boao Forum for Asia Conference Center, which is designated as the permanent address of the Asian Forum. People have said this: Haikou is Hainan, Sanya is China, and Boao is the world. Boao gives people a sense of magic and tranquility, where the delicate elegance of France and the sense of the Asian Forum bring together the Sofitel Boao to create a lasting memory for every person who comes.
From November 22nd to 25th this year, the XX Siemens Industrial Systems and Technology Service Group Business Conference was held at the Sofitel Hainan Boao. As a student of the Tourism Management Branch Convention and Exhibition, we participated in the event as a volunteer under the leadership of the teacher.
On the early morning of the 21st, we left the warm sun of Sanya for a while, and we were on the road with expectation and freshness. The journey in the last two hours was a little bit hard. The scenery on the roadside was not very reminiscent. After we arrived at the hotel, we received the overalls. After the reception and arrangement of the staff, we returned to the dormitory and took a rest to welcome the next day. .
In the following days, I was assigned to the dining group and started my work under the leadership of leaders. It’s really a pleasure to think back at the time. During the whole meeting, we pulled the stools and crossed the table, "grabbing" the main venue; during the meal, we also transported the cups, placed the tableware, and served as the "drinking dishes." The main job before the departure was to clean up the venue. Clean the number of dishes and put them in the right place to prepare for the next event and meal.
The time in Boao is always short, and there are many gains behind the pain and tiredness. .
When the sweat flows through the corners of the mouth, it is salty now, maybe it will be sweet in the future. After the storm, the beauty of the rainbow is worth looking forward to.
This work also made me realize the importance of collective unity and team spirit. Everyone will share the pain and sweat together. Sometimes they will sit down, talk and laugh, and mingle with the leader. After the break, I will start to be busy. It is unambiguous to be serious. When I am busy, work is work, and I can't use it with one heart. After the layout of the Dongyu banquet hall, michale told me that after the completion of the work, you must learn double-check, in order to avoid mistakes, use meals and meetings to achieve the desired results. After a few days with the leader, the Sofitel hotel's route and location are familiar. Passing through the Oriental Performing Arts Hall once, going to the happy crowd, some eating popcorn, watching the movie with ease. Walking through the Galaxy Club, the music swayed everyone's pores and shocked the crazy crowd. At that time, I also wanted to go to the entertainment. Even if I sat down to rest, I could relax my first time wearing leather shoes and some painful feet. But when I saw that I didn’t stop with my leader, I also speeded up my steps. I thought about coming here. I am the protagonist of work. Entertainment and relaxation are not for me now. We have not relaxed yet. The capital, here is a good volunteer, a good student on campus, one day, after hard work, we will gain our own success and become the protagonist of the cause.
In contemporary society, ability has become a measure of society's ability to measure individual abilities. On the last day of the dinner, I finally stood at the end of the main venue, watching the president of Siemens i&s give a certificate to the employees who have outstanding performance in the past year, and look at the smiles of the employees on the stage. That is right. The best reward for giving and sweat, more hard work is worth it. When they were skilled in English on the stage, I realized the importance of English again. Economic globalization brings more business opportunities and challenges to China. A person who does not know English is unable to keep up with the pace of development. After learning English, we can learn the world better and understand each other through mutual exchanges. Competitors, and learn the strengths of others for my use.
After the exhibition, you may have to deal with the hotel. This time, volunteering at the hotel is also a valuable experience. Things always have two sides, and the current pay will be rewarded in the future. This is also an investment in growth.
When I left Boao, I was really reluctant. When I was familiar with the staff passage and the feeling of getting stuck in the work, I just had to communicate with each other naturally. I asked the leader questions. I felt that I was not familiar enough when I learned. Some hotel cultures such as "smile to everyone. More working less speaking".
We are about to leave soon. This may be to let us go back to school to experience this experience and then benefit from it. I used to think about the problem very simple. Now I am growing up. I feel that life is a cup of coffee. I need to stir it carefully, and then continue to add spices according to my own taste. When the full glass of mellow is full of fragrant, I found the beauty of life.
