In order to enrich the students' after-school life, my branch organized a table tennis competition in mid-September XX. The competition lasted for 2 weeks and was held on the third floor of the library. The purpose of this competition is to enable students to have a stage where they can use their own skills to make our university life more colorful and to make us exercise.
A total of 32 participants participated in the competition. After the draw, grouping, and two-on-two matchups, the players who participated in the competition continued to participate in the rematch. In the rematch, the students competed fiercely and worked hard. Finally, three elites were selected: Pan Yihang, Guo Zijing, and Wen Yang. During the competition, the students first achieved the level of friendship and the friendship with the principle of friendship first and competition second, which enabled the students to realize their own life value in the competition. In the semi-finals, four people decided to enter the finals. Although they have entered the finals, they still have not relaxed. They have done their best to make the final effort for the final championship. After a fierce battle, Pan Yihang defeated Guo Zi with superb skills to win the championship. Guo Zi actually achieved the second place with excellent results, and Wenyang ranked third.
Finally, the chairman of the branch student council awarded the winners a prize, which made the event a complete success.
