Opening speech of the 8th School Games

Dear judges, athletes, teachers, classmates: High-spirited, golden fragrant fragrance. In the joyful days of the world-famous "Shenzhou 5" manned spacecraft triumphantly, we greeted the 8th School Athletics Games with great pride. First of all, on behalf of the organizing committee of this Games, I would like to extend my highest respect and cordial greetings to all athletes, referees, coaches and conference staff! Sports is an important aspect of the country's spiritual civilization construction, a concentrated expression of the national quality and the people's spiritual outlook, and school sports is the foundation and focus of a national sports work. In the past few years of schooling, our school has fully implemented the party's education policy, actively promoted quality education, and effectively adopted effective measures to put sports into an important position in school work. The teaching team is full of vitality and the sports facilities are constantly improving, which promotes the vigorous development of school sports. At the 2nd China Small Athletics Games in the Development Zone last year, our school won the first place in the national group and the first place in the broadcasting competition; the first primary and middle school students in Jinhua City, and the second place in the group. And sports ethics awards. Just last month, our school participated in the “Tiange Cup” sports traditional project of Jinhua City, and won the first prize of the city’s first class. The venue of this year's school sports meeting is small, the schedule is short, and the task is heavy. There are 1221 athletes participating in the competition, divided into 9 individual groups and 6 groups. There will also be an admission-style competition and a broadcasting competition before the competition. It is hoped that all athletes will carry forward the good style of "unity, friendship, and forge ahead", carry forward the "higher, faster, stronger" sportsmanship, strictly abide by the competition rules, consciously obey the referee, tenacious struggle, competition style, and competition level. I hope that the referees will do the refereeing work from beginning to end in a rigorous and fair manner. The staff of the conference will do their part and cooperate with each other to provide quality services for everyone.
