American inspirational movie

Since 1998, the American Film Institute has selected 100 films each year based on a certain theme. This year's 100 films featuring the "most inspiring" theme were selected from more than 1,500 actors, producers, screenwriters and others in the industry from 300 nominations. Among the top ten movies on the list, four were works from the 30s to the sixties, and the rest were from the 70s to 90s movies that were born after the war. Among them, Frank Capra's "The Man of the Storm" topped the list.

“When we were in the dark ages, wars, and depressions, the film provided us with an extraordinary shortcut to help us rediscover ourselves,” said Joan Pique Feinberg, executive director of the American Film Institute. "We need to feel good again, and that's how the movies bring us."
