After reading the "Olympic Story"

During the summer vacation, I read a book called "Olympic Story."

This book mainly writes about the origins and reasons of the Olympic Games, wrote some Olympic events, and wrote some stories about the athletes who participated in the Olympic Games in China. There are many knowledge about the Olympics and the spirit of the Olympics. I love it.

This book was written in China's Olympic gold medal and Olympic champion. From the book, I know that our Chinese athletes participated in the 10th Summer Olympic Games. The best result was the 29th Olympic Games. The Chinese team scored a historic leap, winning 51 gold, 21 silver and 28 bronze medals. Second, the number of gold medals is the best. I think Chinese sports athletes are really amazing.

What impressed me the most in the book was the part that wrote the athlete. Because those athletes are so tenacious, and have experienced countless hardships, they still insist on unwavering. In particular, our Chinese women's table tennis player Deng Yaping is even more admirable! She has won the world title 14 times and she is the highest-educated athlete. Deng Yaping’s billiard career was not smooth at first, and he was considered a short stature by the provincial team, so he retired. Although she won the national amateur sports school division singles champion before, but others still think she has no future. She did not lose heart and participated in the Zhengzhou City team. Finally, she ruled out other people's prejudice with her excellent achievements and became the first person in the world of women's pool. This book gave me a lot of inspiration and let me know that "hard work is the foundation of success."

I also learned some special days and met some special people. Especially on this day, on July 29, 1984, the special person I remembered was Xu Haifeng. Xu Haifeng is a sharpshooter. On this day, he won China's first gold medal in Olympic history in the pistol slow-shooting competition. The Chinese people were moved to cry because this gold medal achieved a "zero" breakthrough and was the first Olympic gold medal won by the Chinese. Xu Haifeng is really amazing.

From this book, I also know that I should insist on doing everything, because only by sticking to the end can I grasp the victory, just like the story of the tortoise and the hare race: the tortoise and the rabbit race, the proud and self-satisfied rabbit slept in the middle, and the result The turtle was caught up and won. This story was originally to educate us, not to be proud, to be modest. In fact, I think that in this story, there is another revelation worth pondering, that is, the victory of the tortoise comes from its persistence. Most people think that the turtle and the rabbit race, it is simply an idiot to talk. However, the tortoise did not think so. Instead, it chose to courageously accept the challenge, and in the game, it persisted until the end and won. The reason for the victory is the pride of the rabbit, but there is also the persistence of the turtle. Strong and unyielding, resolutely fighting and not discouraging spirit is worth learning forever!
