Ant moving

Today, there was heavy rain outside the window. I saw that the ants were moving. Why did the ants move when it rains? Is the ant's cave wet by the rain, or is it for other reasons? I really don't understand. I went to ask my father. Dad said, "Do you have a test, can you know why the ants have to move when it rains?" So I made two small houses that let the ants enter. One in the rain, one in the dry place, for a while, I saw an ant looking for something, the ant entered the small house where I was in a dry place, and soon the ant ran out again. For a while, I saw a group of ants entering the dry little house and putting it in a small house in the rain, but none of the ants saw it.

I believe that ants are moving because they are afraid of wetness.
