Kindergarten teacher resignation letter

Dear President and School Board:

Since the beginning of XX, XX, and XX, I have been fortunate to sign a contract with XX School and become a member of the teaching and educating team. I have gained a lot and cherish this wonderful time. Recently, due to my own reasons, after a long period of thinking, I had to make this decision: I resigned from the task of teaching the course and left the XX school. I hope that the principal and the school board can approve my request.
