In the summer of 2019, I came to the People's Court of Ning County, Gansu Province for an internship. After a month of internship, I not only consolidated my professional knowledge, but also exercised my legal practice skills, and also established a good relationship with the teachers of the court, which greatly enhanced my interpersonal skills. It has enriched the social experience and broadened the horizons and benefited a lot.

First, thank the instructors for teaching

The seriousness and meticulousness of President Shi is famous for the court. He has always treated his work meticulously, and the regulations of the High Court are as small as a punctuation mark. He is very strict with us and does not allow a bit of mistakes. However, despite this, Shi Tingchang is very kind and treatable to us, and we are very admired. Teacher Zhang and I have taught me a lot of things, such as the issuance of the notice of execution, the writing of the notice of the court, etc., and told me about the things he had handled before, and taught me a lot of things that I couldn’t learn at school. Social knowledge. There are also several other teachers. Their diligence, rigor, full legal knowledge, rich experience in life, and the ability to analyze the key points have left a deep impression on me and have had a great impact on me. The work of the judge is not as easy as many people think. In addition to a solid legal foundation and rich experience in handling cases, it is also necessary to face a variety of parties. When I was in the court, I often saw emotional parties, some were arrogant, some were loud and noisy, some were crying, and the teachers patiently explained the relevant legal knowledge and tried their best to protect them. Their legal rights and interests are often a long time. The teachers told me that as a legal worker, we must uphold justice and protect the legitimate rights and interests of ordinary people. Every visitor should be treated with courtesy and treated equally. And as a judge, you will often encounter some difficult parties, and even dangerous. These problems are all considered. The teachers discussed the case and repeatedly tried and repeated the contents of the judgment and the judgment. The attitude of serious work made me very admired.

Second, the first time to the court full of passion

On July 21, 2019, we came to the Ning County People's Court. Although the world was pouring rain, it did not affect our enthusiasm. On the same day, the leaders of the court and the presidents of the courts gave us a symposium. They expressed a warm welcome to us and put forward some hopes and demands. The interns listened carefully to the speeches of the leaders, all of them full of enthusiasm. The main thing is to assign us different jobs and arrange accommodation issues. I was assigned to the court of the court.

After the meeting, the students followed the presidents of their respective courts to familiarize themselves with the working environment. I came to the office with President Shi Jitai and met with Mr. Zhang from the office. They warmly welcomed me. My work in the court is mainly accomplished under the guidance and leadership of Shi teacher, Zhang Zhixuan, and several other teachers. They are senior judges of the court, have a solid professional knowledge base and rich experience in handling cases. I am also very caring, I admire them very much.

Since the court is only an intern, I am a bit nervous and worried, afraid that I can't do a good job and trouble others. However, this is also a good opportunity to exercise yourself. Just because it is a person, I need to be independent of the challenge. In this way, I was full of passion and officially started the internship life in the Ning County People's Court.

Third, full of hard work as a clerk

I have never worked in the court before, and I don’t know anything about the work of the clerk. Faced with the fact that he is about to work independently, his confidence is not enough, he is afraid of problems, and brings unnecessary troubles to the teachers and the parties. Fortunately, Mr. Shi, they kept encouraging me and added confidence to me. I have carefully understood the main contents of the clerk's work and the matters to be noted.

The clerk is mainly responsible for the record of the case, including the transcript of the trial, the transcript of the transcript, the transcript of the inquiry, the transcript of the confession, etc. It is also responsible for the finishing and binding of some files and the printing and delivery of some files. Speaking of this record work, some people may think that the record of the clerk is not technical and difficult, but a simple record, but the transcript is actually very knowledgeable. Originally, I didn't understand the work of recording. The writing speed was not fast. Plus, I had no experience. I didn't know the format of the various records. I couldn't touch the door at first, and made a lot of jokes. All kinds of records have certain rules and formats. As long as you master these basic rules and formats, the records will be much simpler. For example, the transcript of the trial, the copy of the indictment served on the transcript, all have "head paper", that is, the paper that has been printed in advance and must be asked in advance. Taking the transcript of the trial as an example, the content of the "head paper" usually has the time, place, cause of the case, the basic situation of the defendant, whether it is a simple program or an ordinary program, whether it is open or closed, the list of members of the collegial panel, and the defendant And so on, these are all printed. The day before the trial, the teacher will give a copy of the indictment to the clerk. The above content can be copied according to the copy of the indictment, which saves a lot of time and energy. In other words, the real record begins with a court investigation. In addition, in the part of the court investigation, the records are also regularly ruled. Some programs are repeated loops, and writing other fixed words over and over again can save a lot of effort.

There are still many difficulties in transcript work, and the typical one is the language problem. I just don't know what to remember, I don't know which ones are important, and which ones are not. The trial was better, and it was more troublesome to ask for transcripts and mediation transcripts. Because the object of the transcript is usually the victim or his family, and the transcript is carried out between the two parties. After the formal questioning begins, the judge will explain and mediate, and ask questions. The other party is also unhappy because of emotional emotions. Or the words are unclear, and some because the level of education is not high, they will say something that has nothing to do with the problem, and the logic is also very chaotic. If the clerk is not experienced enough, he will either write down every sentence of the judge and the client and be exhausted, or he will be killed if he can't remember it. Therefore, we must have a strong inductive ability, understand the main meaning of the questioner and the questioner, quickly analyze what is important, delete unnecessary content, and translate the colloquial language into written Write down the language. And to do all this, there is an important premise, that is, understand.

In addition, it is worth mentioning that during my internship, I tried to write a manuscript paper of my criminal judgment. President Shi gave me two cases and asked me to write a verdict paper. This is a very big test for me. You must know that these two cases are ordinary programs. The written judgment requires that the main content of each piece of evidence be written out and indicate what the evidence proves. Usually, ten is written. A few pages. To write a judgment, you must be very familiar with the whole case and see through the thick reconnaissance volume. After these two writings, I deeply felt that it was not easy to write a judgment and the hard work of the teachers. I learned a lot and exercised my will to overcome difficulties.

Fourth, the experience after the end of the internship

During this short one-month internship, I deeply felt that the work of the court was not easy. Although the courts exercise judicial power on behalf of the state, courts and judges have so many difficulties. The evidence-collecting work is very difficult. The insiders are reluctant to spit out the truth; the relevant personnel disregard the law, and the right-handling law does not cooperate; the vulnerable groups are swallowed up and the rights awareness is weak; the legal concept of the parties is lacking, and the small loses. All of this has prompted me to reinforce my dream of working in the legal profession in the future.

This internship is an indispensable and important experience in my university life and is of great significance to me. The theory that I have mastered before has been tested by practice, which has improved my ability to solve problems; broadened my thinking, broadened my horizons, and made me understand the operation of law in reality. More importantly, I have made many judges and teachers and other authors of the law, which is of great help to my progress in law.
