According to the development and changes of each semester era, the activities highlight the fashion elements of each period, and the popular events in different places are themes.

The new school year begins and the work of the student union is on track. Inheriting and carrying forward the sports heritage left by the Beijing Olympic Games, and taking the Dongfeng held in Shandong by the 11th National Games, the work of the Ministry of Sports will continue to innovate on the basis of inheriting past experience. Efforts have been made to make the sports of the School of Chemical Engineering more outstanding.

First of all, do a good job in the organization of the Ministry of Sports. This year, the Sports Department has recruited 16 freshmen. These fresh blood makes the Sports Department more energetic, but the lack of work experience is their shortcomings. The serious responsibility for the work needs to be observed. As a senior, we should create more opportunities for them to exercise, but they are familiar with the work of the Students' Sports Department as soon as possible, and focus on developing their responsible work attitude. I hope that during this semester, the Sports Department will be the most active department in the student union , the most beautiful scenery. Striving for work is more enthusiasm and better than last semester.

The second is to do a good job in the sports department, to host the sports activities of this school year, and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the students. Taking into account the specific circumstances of the school year, the activities planned by the Ministry of Sports are as follows:

The Welcome Cup basketball game will be held from mid-October to mid-November 2019.

As a traditional sport of the school, basketball is known for its popularity, as can be seen from the crowds on the court. Good things should be carried forward and promoted. Holding a basketball game can not only strengthen the students' awareness of exercise, but also arouse a good sense of competition among the students. At the same time, for the freshman, this is the first large-scale group activity, and it is also the premiere of their class unity and cooperation. I believe that the basketball game can promote the formation of their good class style.

In the course of the competition, our sports department also shoulders the responsibility of setting up a basketball team for the college, selecting students with good skills, and actively preparing for the school's new team basketball game.

The time for holding the table tennis match will be held in late November 2019.

Table tennis as a "national ball" has been widely loved by students in the school. The table tennis game has also been in the School of Chemical Engineering for seven years. With the assistance of the Table Tennis Association, I believe that this year's table tennis game will have better organization and greater influence.

The Leap Cup football match will be held in April 2019.

Football has always been an advantage project of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and has won honors for schools in various competitions. The "Flying Cup" football competition of the School of Chemical Engineering is an important football event under the "Tech Cup". With its unique charm, football has many students who love this sport. Football exercises the ability of the students to unite and cooperate to enhance the physique of the students.

At the same time, in the game, look for the backup force of the college football team.

Organize training for the school relay race, the Keda Cup football match, the school sports meeting, organize training

As a school-level event, these three events have always been the focus of the sports department. Through these three activities, we must show the spirit of the School of Chemical Engineering, the spirit of unity and cooperation, and the spirit of hard work. And achieved excellent results for the college. Our sports department will organize the selection of players before the start of the event and do the training for the players. I believe that this year will definitely have a greater achievement in the results achieved in the previous school year.

At the same time, the Sports Department will be on standby at other times during the semester, and will be actively completed according to the orders issued by the Youth League Committee. As an important part of the Student Union , the Sports Department will actively cooperate with other departments of the Student Union , strengthen exchanges with various ministries, and actively learn from each other's strengths.
