Observing nature

In the last class on Thursday afternoon, the teacher led us to the playground to observe the small insects. I chose to observe the ants. When we heard the teacher, we rushed to the flower bed and quickly dig up the soil.

In a short while, we dug an ant nest, where there are so many ants! I grabbed one and put it on the palm of my hand. After careful observation, I found that the little head of the ant had a pair of thin tentacles on the small head. The thin neck was connected with a small body and the underside of the "big" belly. With three pairs of thin legs, I also found that the body of the ant is divided into three parts, the head, the chest, and the abdomen. I grabbed another ant and put it on my side, as if I had to climb into my hand and "make a dead battle" with me. I immediately put it back into the soil. At this time, listening to Sun Ruichen said that he found the ant king, and I ran over to see it. Just after walking, the ant king flew away. I saw that its back was red. At this time, I remembered that the ant was a "Little Hercules" test. I took some biscuit crumbs from my pocket. The biscuit crumbs were very small for me, but they were very big for ants. I caught an ant. On the biscuit crumbs, the ants touched the tentacles and immediately returned to the cave. After a while, a group of ants came out and carried the biscuit crumbs into the hole.

Through the observation of this lesson, I learned a lot about insects. Next time I have time, I have to observe nature to observe insects.
