Lonely child

On August 28, 1937, it was dark and the sun was covered by thick clouds. However, the South Railway Station in Shanghai is still very busy. The people who are preparing to get on the train are not aware of it. A small pair of fully armed Japanese soldiers are approaching the population of the train station. They had submachine guns in their hands, bullet pockets around their waists, and they quickly looked around the busy people with wolf-like eyes.

Along with the sound of "嗡嗡", several bow-tie fighters of different colors and shapes are flying over here. I saw them screaming like a ferocious eagle in the sky above the train station. From time to time, there were still a few bombs in the crowded place, and then they snarled and flew away. Suddenly, the cries were screaming in one piece, and the train station, which was still bustling an hour ago, was filled with smoke.

Far from hearing the cry from the ruins of the South Railway Station, I saw a little boy crying helplessly sitting on the broken bricks splashed with blood.

He was ragged, and his thin limbs supported his big head, apparently he was malnourished. He yelled in pain: "Mother and Dad, where are you?" While using his fragile hands, he smashed the ruins, hoping to find his own mom and dad. Tears kept falling from his eyes, he was trying hard to find, but he still couldn't find it. I saw his lost squat sitting on the ground, staring desperately at the ruins in front of him.

I don't know what the fate of this little boy will be in the future. May be adopted by a good aunt and uncle, or may stay here, or maybe...

"When the footsteps of spring approach us, we will stretch out our arms and wait quietly." If the war comes to us again, we will definitely stop it. We long for peace and hate war.
