Looking back over the past five years, Lijiang has stood at a new starting point for economic and social development.
Since the first meeting of the 14th People's Congress of the county in 1998, under the leadership of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and the CPC Qijiang County Committee, the people of the county have firmly grasped the Chongqing Municipality, the Western Development and the Ningbo Expressway.
