Summary of half-year work of college students

Time flies, time flies. In a blink of an eye, it’s been a year since I left the university campus and set foot on the job. This year is an extraordinary year for me and the most important year of growth.

From the moment I officially became a village official in Beiqiao Street in July 2019, I silently said to myself: In the big stage of society, I am an inexperienced student. Everything starts from the beginning and strives to do a good job. One thing, take every step of the way. In this way, I came to work in Xinbei Village with full of ideals, and opened a new chapter in my life.

Working at the grassroots level, I deeply felt that attitude determines everything. Face-to-face dealing directly with ordinary people, helping to deal with various affairs and disputes requires a lot of patience. Some things are not too difficult. The key is how to do things for others. I have encountered them for the first time in many aspects. When I have time, I will seize every opportunity for the village leaders to deal with problems, stand by and learn their methods of doing things, know that things should be treated calmly, communicate constantly, respect each other to solve problems, and borrow a lot of valuable experience. In addition, I also followed the village women's directors from house to house, walked the streets, vigorously publicized the planning and birth policy and the floating population marriage and childbirth policy, and earnestly made the account. The field of family planning work has never been touched by me, so I have to ask every single thing, always remember to be open-minded and learn to do it.

The work in the village is trivial, but it is these little things that have taught me a lot of things. The big things are started from small things, and the tiny things can make achievements. In December of 2019, I was fortunate enough to be promoted to be the deputy secretary of the North Bridge Street Working Committee. This is a great encouragement to me. For the first half of the year since joining the Working Committee, I actively participated in and planned a series of activities. In March, the first 2010 East China Machine Tool and Mould Equipment Exhibition Fair was held in Beiqiao. The Youth League Committee organized a well-trained volunteer team to participate in on-site management in advance; such as “Learning Lei Feng Day” and “3.15 Consumer Day”. In the days of organizing young members to take to the streets to serve the people and publicize knowledge; actively cooperate with the square cultural performances of the street cultural station, provide thoughtful volunteer services, and make the event scene orderly; on the eve of the May Disabled Day, cooperate with the Street Civil Affairs Office. Good "one-on-one" help work, with the help of the young members of the group, disabled friends arrived at the venue to participate in the event. In addition, he participated in the planning of the first "Top 10 singer contest in the Xiangcheng District North Bridge Division", which enriched the leisure life of young friends. The work of the Communist Youth League is very energetic. Here I have exercised my abilities and felt the vitality of young people.

According to the needs of the organization, in late February of this year, I was transferred from Xinbei Village to the North Bridge Street Service Center for statistical work. This is a test of my professional knowledge. To do a good job in statistics, we must conscientiously do a good job in collecting, inspecting, reviewing, summarizing, and reporting daily statistical data to ensure that the number of reports is true, accurate, timely, complete, comprehensive, and objectively reflecting the operation of the entire street-, second-, and third-industry industries. The situation and other economic and social achievements have provided first-hand information to the higher authorities and local governments. Although I am an accountant, I am fully engaged in statistics for the first time. In the first month, I only asked the seniors to ask for more and more slowly. Since the implementation of online reporting of industrial statistics of enterprises above designated size, there have been many business problems. The number of companies that filed online this year has grown from 57 last year to 96. Many new-scale enterprises are the first to declare. At the end of February, the relevant personnel of the District Statistics Bureau came to guide the business training, and also conducted specific business guidance through business visits. At the end of the month, I strengthened telephone communication and successfully realized industrial output and output, major economic indicators, and energy consumption. Online direct reporting, such as water consumption and labor wages, guarantees the timeliness and quality of industrial statistics. Every online report form of the statistics I have first figured out how to fill out, and then I can answer some professional questions that the accountant called to ask me. After a long time, I gradually mastered the rules and changed the enterprise form more and more easily. As long as I work hard, I think everything can be done well.

One year of work and life made me understand the responsibility and attitude, let me learn to face any difficulties, and let me understand the mission of being a college student village official. The road to work will continue to go on, and many unfinished tasks are still waiting for me. I deeply know that there are still many deficiencies to be improved, and many places are still immature, but I will continue to work hard, take every step and make a solid foundation for the future, leaving a beautiful footprint for youth.
