Summary of summer activities in the countryside

From July 17 to 27, I participated in a 10-day summer trip to the countryside, organized by the Green Civilization Society of South China Normal University and went to Lili Village, Mazhang District, Zhanjiang. The team has a total of 22 people and lives in Li Lixiao, Wenli. During this period, our research team conducted a household survey to investigate the changes in the living standards of rural people on the 60th anniversary of the founding of the country, as well as the investigation of the impact of eucalyptus planting on the local area; Leaders and village cadres held talks. On the evening of the 26th, a cultural evening was successfully held in Lili Village, Wenli. During this period, we personally experienced the daily production and life of the people in Lili Village, and learned some basic information about the standard of living in the local area. Therefore, it is necessary to organize them and combine their feelings and feelings as a summary of this activity. .

The work of our research team in the countryside should be said to have been successfully completed. And for success, I think there are several reasons:

First, there is an excellent pre-step work, which provides the basis and materials for us to determine the research theme.

Second, the excellent work of going to the countryside in the previous year has paved the way for our research this year. I have not encountered any difficulties when I entered this year.

Third, the reasonable coordination between the research team and the public propaganda team has been successfully solved. Our two groups have few human resources and insufficient translation.

Fourth, the support of local villagers, especially the village committee, Li Shuji helped us solve many problems.

Of course, there are still many shortcomings in this activity. Here are some of my views:

Previous period:

First, the theme was once uncertain and wasted a lot of time and effort. And finally changed the theme temporarily during the training.

Suggestion: First define the requirements of the Youth League Committee, and then determine a theme as soon as possible. The theme is best only one, and fine. Can't be too wide.

Second, the team leader and personnel changes too much. The group once had eight or nine people, and finally there were only four people. The team leader also changed three. There was a problem with the distribution of work, data sharing, and communication between the team leader and the team members.

Recommendation: The best team leader in the early stage can share information and ideas with each team member so that everyone can be the team leader at any time. Also, it is best to clarify your responsibilities and not to quit.

Third, visit the paper mill was rejected. The other party first requested that there should be a lot of file certificates. If they sent it, they said that they had not received it, or they said that the leader was not there, and they were delayed.

Suggestion: If there is a similar visit in the future, you should contact the bank before you take a vacation, and prepare the supporting documents requested by the other party. And provide some temptation for the other party, such as submitting reports and so on. And try to do it.

During the survey:

First, sometimes there is no group meeting or too short at night. Reason: The leader is lazy and has insufficient awareness of the evening time.

Suggestion: Set a time to open a group meeting every night. The group urged each other to take a shower and go to the meeting as soon as possible.

Second, when the meeting group meeting was held, there were not many things reflected by the members.

Suggestion: The team leader should try to mobilize the enthusiasm of the team members, clarify today's problems, determine the purpose of tomorrow, and work with the purpose, so that one day, there can be something to summarize in the meeting.

Third, the itinerary. The schedule is best to be compact, because the research work is often done with the back, so if you try to arrange the work in front, you can do more flexible processing.

Fourth, during the interview, due to language barriers, local students can only translate. This has prevented us from fully controlling the situation of the entire interview.

Suggestion: Try to start with Mandarin, and try to have a local dialect in the group.

Fifth, the questionnaire is not designed well enough, and some of the information you want is not available.

Suggestion: It is best to have a professional to carry out training, and do several simulation studies first, and find that it is insufficient and timely revised.

Sixth, post-work is not systematic.

Suggestion: Understand the post-time schedule of the team members and arrange their respective work. In the last few days, I didn’t go out to research and set a working time.
