Unconsciously, the internship is coming to an end. During this period, we fully understand the real situation of the community and basically grasp the process of the community.
During this time, I feel that the community work is hard, but at the same time it is happy. The hard part is to face every household and solve the trivial problems encountered in daily life. At the same time, we must face the incomprehension and disapproval of some community residents in the community work. For them, we must patiently and meticulously interpret and persuade them to participate in our work as much as possible; happiness is because we feel that we are a community and contribute to our community when we complete a task with everyone. . At the same time, I also exercised my ability, and I am very happy!
During this time, I personally participated in the community "home care for the elderly" activities, personally visited the elderly home, asked about the physical condition of the elderly and filled out the form for the elderly to build a free medical examination manual and convenient service card for the elderly, which is convenient for the elderly; The elderly living alone in our community, we personally went to their homes to clean them and talk to the elderly, understand the psychological problems and life difficulties that the elderly need to solve, and record them so that they can be resolved as soon as possible.
Through the visit, we have in-depth understanding of the basic situation of the "home elderly", providing first-hand information for a series of activities in the community in the future, and our performance has also been praised by the community elderly, I feel a lot of gains!
In recent years, under the leadership of the Party Central Committee and xx, local party committees and governments at all levels have attached great importance to it. The relevant departments have cooperated vigorously and the whole society has participated extensively. China's urban and rural community construction has made great progress. Urban and rural communities have played an active role in meeting the needs of residents' living, strengthening social management, maintaining social stability, developing grassroots democracy, and promoting social progress. Urban and rural communities have increasingly become platforms for grassroots management, platforms for serving residents, and social work. The platform, the community-based new social management system was initially constructed.
At present, the main problem in China's community is that the community infrastructure is still not perfect. The development of community service is not compatible with the growing material and cultural needs of the residents. The construction of relevant laws and regulations still needs to be followed up. As a public administration student, I would like to briefly talk about my understanding of the "home care" activities. With the development of society, the quality of life of the elderly has become the focus of social attention. Respecting the old and respecting the elderly is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation. Living at home is in line with China's national conditions and the traditional habits of our people. However, relying solely on the power of the family to support the elderly is obviously not feasible. The traditional way of home care is affected in an aging society. challenge. Therefore, the community should play a greater role. On the whole, it is very necessary and immediate to carry out community home care activities.
However, I believe that there are the following problems in the community home care work: First, the social propaganda is not enough, and the whole society has not formed a culture of caring for the "home elderly". In addition, there is also a problem of insufficient publicity within the community. The entire community residents do not quite understand the purpose and specific content of the event, which brings great inconvenience to the work. Second, the degree of socialization of pension is not enough, the investment subject is single, and the capital investment is insufficient. The lack of community facilities is a major obstacle to the current level of community management, resulting in the inability to carry out community activities. Third, the operational mechanism of socialized home-based pension work is not sound and perfect, and there is no corresponding system and regulations guarantee, and the quality of work is difficult to guarantee.
In view of the above problems, I believe that we should continue to strengthen in the following aspects: First, strengthen the training of relevant personnel, and cultivate a high-skilled work team to provide high-quality services for the elderly in the community. Secondly, vigorously carry out social and community propaganda work, so that the concept of respecting the elderly and caring for the elderly is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and the whole society forms a good atmosphere. Once again, community service content can be more diversified and diversified, and open to more investors to ease the financial burden of the government. Finally, efforts should be made to pay attention to the normative nature of home-based care activities, so that the whole activity has chapters to be found, and there are laws to follow.
