Summary of the work of the town league committee in the first half of the year

Since the beginning of this year, under the correct leadership and concern of the town party committee and the higher-level group organization, the town league committee has adhered to the scientific development concept and the xx spirit of the regiment as a guide, closely surrounding the central work of the town party committee, and following the principle of “obeying the overall situation and serving the society, The principle of educating young people, vigorously strengthen the ideological construction and organizational construction of the regiment, pay attention to the education and management of foreign youths, comprehensively expand the various tasks of the regiment, and create a new situation for the various undertakings of the Communist Youth League.

I. Ideological education is fruitful

In the first half of the year, the group’s ideological education mainly carried out the following seven aspects of work and achieved remarkable results. First, there are plans to organize youth league members to study the scientific concept of development in depth, and to combine the study and implementation of the spirit of the party's xx spirit and the spirit of the XX conference, so as to achieve "the leadership of the group and the organization of the organization." Second, the joint propaganda, culture, women's federations and other departments, through the holding of essay contests and moral monopoly selection and other themes of the "two thinking" education series activities, carry forward the fine tradition of hard work, and maintain a pioneering and enterprising spirit. The third is to convene a meeting of the cadres of the regiment to concentrate on the spirit of the xx conference of the group and to serve as a model for the youth league members. The fourth is to strengthen the revolutionary traditional education of young people by organizing young people to hold the "respecting the martyrs" in the martyrs cemetery. Fifth, the joint legal department conducts legal lectures in schools to reduce the incidence of juvenile crimes through education. The sixth is to organize students to participate in the red song competition organized by the Communist Youth League Committee and carry out patriotic education. Seventh, combined with the "Youth Civilization" and "Youth Position Experts" activities, carry out professional ethics and post responsibility education.

Second, the organization of the group has been further strengthened                    

First, convene a meeting of the Youth League Committee and the Secretary of the Youth League Branch according to the plan, summarizing the exchange of work experience, and researching and deploying specific work. The second is to organize the heads of the various organizations to participate in the grassroots group training courses organized by the Communist Youth League Committee, and continuously improve the overall quality of the group. The third is to actively explore the training of reserve cadres of the regiment, and increase the formation of non-public enterprises, especially the loose rural group organizations. Fourth, on the basis of consolidating the organization of the enterprise, through investigation and research, we will continue to increase the building of non-public enterprises and expand the influence of the organization in non-public enterprises. At the same time, our town has newly developed more than 80 members this year. On the basis of actively developing new members, we have done a good job of recommending outstanding members to join the party. This year, the town has more than 12 people. The fifth is to do a good job in group transfer, especially to assist the school youth league committee to establish close working relations with the rural group organizations, enterprises and institutions, and the school organizes the group membership of the students who graduated from school every year. Students in the village group or transferred to the organization of their employment units, to minimize the loss of members, to ensure the continued management of the members.

Third, do a good job in various thematic activities to enhance the cohesiveness of the group organization

Volunteer service activities will be carried out around the theme of "Dedication, Service, and Society". The Youth League Committee, together with the Yushu School General Branch and the Heye Village Youth League Branch, launched the Youth Volunteer Service Unified Action Day in March this year, including condolences to the elderly, issuing volunteer contact cards, medical consultation, and cleaning up environmental sanitation. Afforestation, etc., has been widely welcomed by the local people. At the same time, in order to better serve the society and help poor children, in June, the Women’s Federation was jointly organized to carry out “care for poor children and paired with students”.

Based on the current situation, we will carry out employment and entrepreneurship guidance activities for young migrant workers and college students returning home. This year, the Youth League Committee of our town established Yuxi Town Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Training Base in the villages of planting, breeding and processing in Gonglun, Heye and Yuyu, and broadened their employment channels. At the same time, we have developed a series of targeted training activities based on the survey of youth employment and entrepreneurship in the town. In June, the city’s university student village officials were organized to hold the first university student village official salon in Jiangyan City in our town, and entrepreneurial experts were invited to conduct entrepreneurship training for university student village officials.

Fourth, vigorously carry out colorful cultural activities to enrich the spiritual life of the members       

In the first half of the year, with the strong support of the town party committee and the town government, we actively carried out various healthy and beneficial cultural and recreational activities, enriching the spiritual life of young people. During the May Fourth Movement, the Youth Art Week was organized, including a series of youth singer grand prix, youth sports games, and youth talent competitions. It not only enriched the leisure life of young people in the local area, but also built the cultural construction of the town. Activity platform; through the "moral little rich", "excellent children workers" selection activities, with typical advanced deeds and noble spirit to educate and influence the majority of young people.

V. Give play to the leadership of the Youth League Committee and take the lead in the work of the Young Pioneers

This year, the Youth League Committee supported the Young Pioneers to carry out a number of activities and achieved the goal of “education in activities”. For example, the Young Pioneers Headquarters organizes the Young Pioneers to participate in social compulsory activities in March this year, and to celebrate the “Six-one” campaign; further deepen the Young Pioneers’ “Eagle Action” and organize the town’s counselors and teachers together with the town’s cultural and educational departments. The student representatives carried out the “First Hand” mutual aid activities of the Young Pioneers; on the occasion of the first anniversary of the 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake, Yu Yu School was organized to carry out networking activities with the Mianzhu Gongxing Town Center.

Looking back at the work in the first half of the year, the achievements are certainly gratifying, but there are still some problems behind the achievements, mainly in the following aspects: First, the ideological education of young people is relatively weak and cannot adapt to the development of new situations; second, some grassroots organizations The vitality is not enough, especially the part of the village group organization is relatively loose; the third is that the individual group cadres are not high-quality, and the work lacks enthusiasm; the fourth is that the new economic organization and community group building work is not progressing much, and the effect is not obvious. These issues need to be treated correctly and resolved in the future.
