Synopsis:

In the context of the Middle-earth continent, it tells the story of how Bilbo Baggins helped a group of dwarves to recapture the lonely mountain occupied by the dragon Smaug.

The third story of the film will extend the story of the novel based on the original materials, and tell the story of Bilbo's return to the hometown and even the movie "The Lord of the Rings" sixty years ago.

Many years ago, the scorpion Smaug had destroyed the dwarf's national mountain and the nearby river valley town, forcing the descendants of Turin's descendants, Sorin Oak Shield, to go abroad. Smaugge occupies the treasures of the Lonely Mountain and the Valley Town, and places the treasure in the mountains where Smaug lives.

Before the outbreak of the Battle of the Five Armies, Changhu Town was attacked by Smaug, and the humans in Changhu Town learned about Sorin’s secret mission. The survivor of the Valley Town, Saturn, shot and killed Smaug. Although Smaug was attacked, Changhu Town was also seriously damaged.

The forest elves knew that after the death of Smaug, they intended to divide the treasures of the ancient dwarves, but when the forest elves knew that Changhu Town was in trouble, they gave up this intention and gave support. The surviving people of Changhu Town, accompanied by the elves, went to the Lonely Mountain to retrieve the treasures that originally belonged to Bard to make up for their losses. However, Sorin is not willing to divide the treasure.

Sorin and others were surrounded by people headed by the Elven Kings Thur Druid and Bard. Sorin used the big crows of the Lonely Mountain to ask for help from the dwarves of the Iron Hill. The ruler of the Iron Hill led Dane II to lead more than 500 people. The dwarf warriors arrived at the Lonely Mountain and expressed their support for Sorin. Most of the soldiers were involved in the war between the dwarves and the Orcs. When Dane II’s army arrived, almost a war broke out, but Gandalf declared at this time that the half-orcs of the Misty Mountains and Ired Miselin attacked them under the leadership of Chief Bog. After learning about the death of Smaug, the Orcs immediately mobilized the entire army and attacked the unguarded treasure house.

The commanders of the three armed forces reached a consensus that the half-orcs were their common enemy and could bring them greater threats, so they temporarily put down the dispute. They placed the army on the ridges on either side of a canyon, the only passage into the lonely mountain. The dwarves and the human troops of Changhu Town ambushed on a ridge, and the elf army ambushed on another ridge. They also deployed a small number of troops in Taniguchi to lure enemy troops into the valley. Bilbo Baggins is in the army of the elves and does not participate in the war.

The half-orc and the wolf army arrived, and the strategy of the dwarves, elves, and human forces was initially effective. The Orc and the wolf army were lured into the valley by a small number of Changhu town soldiers and suffered heavy losses. However, due to the large number of enemy forces, the dwarves, elves and human joint forces failed to dominate. The Orcs began to climb the mountain on the back, pinching the coalition on the ridge. The war broke out in an all-out way. Sorins and others in the mountains also heard the loud noise of the war. They pushed down the stone walls on the door and killed many half-orcs. Sorin and others obtained good weapons and equipment from the treasure house and began to join the battle group. Sorin sneaked into the Orc army, but was blocked by Bog's giant guard and surrounded.

The coalition forces were struggling, and the giant eagle leader of the Misty Mountains led the giant eagle to come to the reinforcements. Bilbo first discovered the giant eagle and shouted "the giant eagle came", causing a half-orc to stun Bilbo with stones. The giant eagle defeated the enemy forces on the mountain, enabling the coalition forces to concentrate on the battles in the valley and gradually regain their advantage. Bion appeared at the battlefield with the appearance of a bear at this time. Bion defeated the half-orc's line of defense and picked up the injured Sorin. He rushed to scatter the guard of Bog and murdered Bog. The half-orcs were defeated, and the coalition forces pursued victory and won.

Philip and Kellett died while defending Sorin. Sorin was seriously injured. After Bilbo saw his last side, Sorin passed away.

After defeating the enemy, the winner divides the treasure. One-fourth of all gold and silver were given to Bard, and Bard became the mayor of River Valley. Dann returned Gillian's jade necklace to Bard, who gave it to the Elf King Thrandu. Bilbo assisted Gushan to restore the country, and he should have received the most generous rewards. But Bilbo considered it difficult to transport a large amount of treasures to go home, and he was not keen on the treasure, so he gave up the treasure he should get, and finally only Receive a box of gold and a box of silver, as well as his secret silver dress.
