The secret of Yu Minhong's success

The secret of Yu Minhong's success

One thing my father did when he was a child still makes me remember it today. My father is a carpenter. He often helps others build a house. Every time he builds a house, he will throw away the broken bricks that others have discarded, or two pieces, or three pieces. Sometimes on the road, I saw bricks or stones on the side of the road, and he would pick it up and take it home in the basket. Over time, there was a mess of bricks and shingles in my yard. I couldn't figure out the usefulness of this pile of things. I just thought that the small yard was originally made by my father without room for manoeuvre. Until one day, my father began to measure left and right on the small open space in the corner of the yard, ditching and digging, and muddy walls, using the pile of chaotic bricks to make a right-click, a small square house was actually pulled out. From the beginning, the clean and beautiful form and the yard form a harmonious whole. The father rushed the pigs and sheep that had been kept in the open air to the small house, and then cleaned the yard. My family had a yard and a pig house that the whole village envied.
At that time, I just thought that my father was very great. I built a house with one person and then continued to live with my other children in poverty, but live happily through my rural life. When I grew up, I gradually discovered the profound impact that my father had done on me. From a brick to a pile of bricks, and finally into a small house, my father explained to me all the mysteries of doing one thing. A brick is useless. A pile of bricks is useless. If you don’t have a dream of building a house, having all the bricks in the world is a pile of waste; but if you only have the dream of building a house without bricks, you can’t dream. achieve. At that time, my family was so poor that even eating was a problem. Naturally, there was no money to buy bricks, but my father did not give up. Every day, the bricks were broken, and finally one day there were enough bricks to build the house.
In the days that followed, the spirit of this thing has been inspiring me and has become the guiding ideology for my work. When I do things, I usually ask myself two questions:
The first is what the goal of doing this is, because blindly doing things is like smashing a pile of bricks and not knowing what to do, it will waste your life.
The second question is how much effort is needed to make this happen, that is, how many bricks need to be built to make the house work. Be patient afterwards because the bricks are not enough for one day.
Three things in my life prove the benefits of this idea.
The first one is my college entrance examination. The goal is clear: I have to go to college. I didn't test it in the first and second years. My bricks are not enough. In the third year, I continued to fight hard and finally entered Peking University.
The second one is my back word, the goal is clear: to become one of the best English vocabulary teachers in China, so I started a word back, in the pain of the words that have been forgotten, my father’s image of the bricks always Before I came to my eyes, I finally turned down two or three thousand words and became a good vocabulary teacher.
The third thing is that I am doing New Oriental. The goal is clear: I want to be one of the best English training institutions in China. Then I will start to teach the students. On average, I will give students six to ten hours a day. Many teachers fall down. Or gave up, I did not give up, ten years as one day. Every time I took a class, I felt a brick and I dreamed of building a new house in New Oriental. I am still working hard until today, and I have already seen the hope that the New Oriental house can be built.
