Yu Minhong Inspirational Classic: Map of Life
Yu Minhong Inspirational Classic: Map of Life
From the middle school, I was very interested in geography, and the most interesting one is the map. Facing a map, I can count the distance from one location to another in a few hours, and imagine the mountains all the way. The scenery of the mountains and rivers is infinite. Until today, the collection map is still my good. At the time of the college entrance examination, I was most proud of being able to draw Chinese maps and world maps at a rapid speed, and to mark countries and places on one another, eager to go to these places one day in the future. When I was in college, I traveled some places, riding a bicycle, hiking, or drilling under the seat of a train. How to save money. But more often, I can only daze in the map, dreaming that I can walk freely around the world, and my heart often has a burst of excitement.
After the work, the economic conditions allowed, and I began to move my travel dreams from the map to reality. Growing up in nature, I can see the sunrise and sunset every day, and the stars are moving, so I feel confident about my sense of direction and feel that it is not easy to get lost anywhere. So as long as there are friends out, I will take the task of guiding the way, or simply bring my friends from one place to another. My ability to recognize the road among my friends is notorious. I almost always find the place I want to arrive. I have traveled many places by myself, and when I rarely get lost, I have developed excessive confidence in my ability to identify my direction. I always think that even without a map, I can travel all over the world.
It was only after I encountered a few things that I knew that there was no map or other equipment to guide the direction. I thought it was a good sense of direction, just an illusion. Once I drove to the Hulunbuir grassland with my friends. After the car drove into the grassland, I suddenly found that the heavens and the earth were all in one, and the four sides were endless green grass reaching out to the horizon, which could not be separated from the southeast and northwest. The car was unable to make a turn on the grassland. I recently traveled by car in the United States, and the pain caused by the lack of maps left me with a deep memory. Driving from New York to Boston, I just had to take the No. 95 highway and it was all over, so I didn't bring the map of the United States, but after driving to a section, the front was blocked by traffic accidents, so I could only open from one exit. Going out, I entered a small town in the United States. There are many criss-crossing irregular streets in this town. I lost my direction in a while. Because the town has no maps to sell, we can only ask the residents for directions. They are all enthusiastic. Pointing the way, but we still often go back to the town, and finally toss for two hours, only to find that the entrance of another road is only about two miles away from us.
The lesson that I left behind was that if I didn't enter the strange place again without a map, I was deeply aware of how important it was to figure out the path to the destination in advance. Many of us are very clear about what we ultimately want to get, but it is often sloppy about how to design the path to the destination. If you ask people what their ideals are five or ten years later, most people can say it clearly, such as studying abroad and becoming an expert in a certain field; but few people seriously design to achieve their goals. Paths, even the roads can not go without knowing. So many people began to lose their way in the process of moving toward the goal, blindly turning circles, taking a lot of detours, even going the wrong way, running counter to the established goals, and some people are heading for a dead end.
Therefore, before you go to the destination of life, it is very important to design a map of life for yourself. On the map, you must mark the starting point, mark the destination, and mark the path to the destination. You must also have enough Psychological preparations to cope with unexpected situations, once the original path does not work, how to determine the new path. Life is not just about moving toward a result, but equally important is the path to the outcome. There is a map of life in your hands. You will not lose your way when you walk in the wind and rain. Your life will go farther than you think, and there will be more destinations, so there will be more wonderful things.
