Analysis of common problems in graduate self-recommended materials

1. The material cover is too innovative. For example, if a graduate writes four large characters on the cover, “Tong Bole”, it feels like threatening the employer and using the unit.

2, the recommended materials are lengthy, empty, words are too gorgeous, too many adjectives. For example, a graduate wrote in his self-recommended materials: "I hope that this life, after experiencing countless storms, will become the most magnificent rainbow... Please tell me the direction of the sea with your eyes..." More than 3,000 Words, but the information that should be let the employer know in the cover letter is almost impossible to find.

3. Mix your water with your resume. According to the survey, some graduates' resumes are completely fake. Even if the resumes give graduates an opportunity to interview, they will be exposed in the interview. For the graduates themselves, it will have a very bad impact on the school.

4. The resume is too long. There are individual graduates whose resumes are more than 10 pages long. The experience of middle school is also written in the resume. The personal situation and experience are too detailed. This long and boring resume can't touch the employer, it will only be counterproductive.

5. Pay too much attention to the requirements for welfare and treatment. This will take a big risk. If it is too high, the employer will not be able to afford you, and if it is too low, the employer will feel that you are insignificant.

6. In the recommended materials, forget to fill in the job search intention and the contact information of the graduates themselves.

7. The recommendation of the organization or tutor is written as a graduation appraisal. In the self-recommended materials of our graduates, many organizations or tutors recommend the same words. "The classmates love the party, patriotism, pursue progress, study hard and earnest, obey the law, ... is a qualified University graduates.” The ability, quality, specialty, ability to work, and future development direction are rarely mentioned in each graduate, thus losing the effect of recommendation.

8. Text, typesetting, and formatting errors often appear in self-recommended materials. Like the self-recommended material of a graduate of our school in 2000, there are 11 typos in the total of 3,000 words, and 2 formats are wrong. Some students' self-recommended materials are crumpled and smudged. This will make the employer feel that you are not worried about your job search, so you will not be careful in your future work.

9. You cannot design different self-recommended materials according to the different positions you are applying for. Different jobs have different requirements for employees' abilities and qualities, and most of our graduates always deliver the same self-recommended materials to employers whose nature and requirements are completely different.

10, the material is incomplete. The more important honors or published papers obtained by the graduates listed in the resume must be certified by the corresponding materials or materials. These certificates should not be attached to each self-recommended material, but the graduates You must bring your own one for the interview.
