Paperless resume will be a recruitment trend


"Sorry, we do not accept paper resumes, please log in to our company's website and fill out the electronic resume." This is the case of the IBM China Research Center recruited by the reporter at the "Foreign Enterprise into Campus" job fair of Sichuan University.

Since last year, IBM has "rejected" paper resumes for graduates. "There are many reasons for not receiving paper resumes. Second, Paper resumes are easy to lose, and it is difficult to be seen by multiple managers at the same time. There are relatively few opportunities for talents to be selected. The electronic resumes are safe and long-lasting, and all managers can read through the Internet, and the opportunities for talents to be hired are relatively increased. Ms. Du Zhaoxia, the company's human resources representative, told reporters.

Ms. Du also said that the company’s e-CV should be written in an XML computer language, so college students must learn and master the language. This invisibly sets a barrier for college students.

According to Ms. Du, the paperlessness of job search resume originated from the IT industry company. At present, more and more companies have adopted this recruitment method, which is also the development trend of future recruitment.
