Party members' meteorological workers must abide by the provisions of the "Party Constitution" and a series of requirements of the Central Committee. At present, we must play a vanguard and exemplary role in eight areas: firmness and conviction, innovation, dedication, hard work, honesty, and seeking truth from facts:

First, to be a model of firm ideals and beliefs: to strengthen the communist ideal and the belief in socialism with Chinese characteristics, to consciously study and practice Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thinking of the "Three Represents" and conscientiously implement the party's line, principles, and policies.

Second, to be a model for pioneering and innovation: adhere to the scientific concept of development, and establish a new concept of public weather, safety weather and resource meteorology. Have a strong spirit of innovation, actively explore, forge ahead, and work creatively.

Third, to be a model of dedication and dedication: keep in mind the purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly, establish a sense of urgency, and work hard. Obey the meteorological professional ethics, work hard, be afraid of difficulties, bravely shoulder heavy burdens, and create first-class performance in your position.
