Those heroes who have come out of the campfire, those who have emerged from the hardships, those who have come out of the ordinary, we deeply admire them. They are our noble example, and although we have said to ourselves many times, we must keep the moral principles in mind, but we often ignore morality by neglecting the small things that happen around us.

Our magazine has published such a story. A famous university in Shanghai, a speech is about to begin. The presenter is an old senior who has made great achievements on the other side of the ocean. The speech was very exciting and the applause sounded from time to time. At the end of the trip, the old seniors asked the host and the audience: Please allow him to extend for another two minutes. At this point, he invited the eight attendees on time to come on stage, and then showed his ticket, he said two things. First, due to the delay in the opening time, he has delayed the flight, had to postpone the return time, and canceled the two appointments there; Second, there are students who asked for a lecture on how to read the MBA. ". He said: "The 'doors' of MBA and all other modern disciplines are built in the hearts of everyone - please learn from these eight students, and stick to the 'time contract', and strive to make every future appointment in time. You have entered the 'gate' of modern business management!"

The final speech of the old seniors set off a great wave in the MBA students. "Three cups of sinuo, Wuyue is light", the importance of integrity, heavier than Jiuding, heavier than Qianjin, heavier than Wuyue. In ancient and modern China and foreign countries, there are many people who are worthy of a promise. As a member of the Communist Party, I always remember the vows that I had promised under the party. This is also the most basic and profound understanding of the word "integrity."

So, what is integrity? The basic content of "integrity" is honesty, credit, trust, that is, treating people with sincerity, trusting people with credit, and trusting others. China is a state of etiquette, and "integrity" is a fine tradition passed down from generation to generation. More than two thousand years ago, there were 15 places where Confucius first mentioned "faith" in the book "The Analects of Confucius". He pointed out: "People don't believe, they don't know what they can." That is to say, if you are not a trustworthy person, you don't know what else he will do in the future. He also said that "the people do not believe in not standing," and the integrity is mentioned in the status of the country's rise and fall, the rise and fall of society.

But now, our country with thousands of years of good faith tradition is facing a severe crisis of integrity. In the market, fake and shoddy. In terms of finance, false accounts and defaults are prevailing. The "triangular debt problem" is plagued by national finance. Bank loans cannot be recycled. They have to resort to insurance and even dare to issue loans. Some corporate businesses have found that “no profit” can be brought about by financial fraud, but such short-term behavior ultimately harms others and causes irreparable losses to the country and society.

In developed countries, although their credit system is much better than ours, it is still difficult to escape the crisis of integrity. The fraudulent scandals of Enron and WorldCom made the US economy lose $37-42 billion this year. The capitalist economy of the United States is already one of the most mature and developed economies in the world, and there are still tens of billions of dollars in assets lost. Then China, with only a few decades, develops a socialist market economy without precedent. If there is a lack of integrity, can we afford such a huge loss of assets?

In view of this, some well-known economists have repeatedly urged Ning, Wu Jinglian and so on that all China should act to rebuild the credit system and create a "credit China."

At present, the construction of China's credit system is in full swing. This system includes the establishment and improvement of individual, corporate and government credit files. At the same time, the mechanism of dishonesty and punishment in the whole society is also taking shape. Shanghai personal credit joint credit information service system and credit report inquiry subsystem, Beijing "Red Shield 315" credit record website and other credit files have been established, individuals or enterprises with bad credit records, will be included in the "blacklist", thus enabling A series of social activities and economic activities of individuals or enterprises frequently hit the wall, forcing people to establish credit concepts.

This mandatory means is certainly not a long-term solution. We can only hope that each of our citizens can consciously inherit the fine tradition of "integrity", establish the moral code of "integrity", and add a piece of tile to create a credit China.
