1. The political ideology is not strong enough. It lacks the political acumen and insight of the party's ideological line, principles, and policies. Understanding things only stays on the surface, without looking at the essence, the understanding of things is not profound and comprehensive. Political learning "walking through the field", stopped in form, perfunctory things, although I often study Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, but I did not pay much attention to my thoughts, the purpose of learning is not clear enough, and there is no thinking in learning, only literally Understanding Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, without conscious of the essence of his thoughts, makes his understanding of theoretical knowledge decoupled from reality, does not play a guiding role in theory, but learns for learning, making learning formal and dogmatic.

2. The level of policy theory is not high. The understanding of the party's line, principles, and policies only stays at the general level, and there is no deep research and mastery. The understanding of advanced nature is less and less superficial. Therefore, the guidance of work lacks theoretical height and depth of practice.

In terms of theory and practice, although I have participated in various meetings and studies in the general section, I have also studied some theoretical and business knowledge, but I have not applied it well to practical work and solve practical problems, and have not been able to establish scientific development. The requirement is to stop the study only on the surface and do some form to cope with the examination. Because of the lack of political theory knowledge, it is difficult to solve the new situation and new problems appearing in the work.

4. Outdated ideas and lack of pioneering and innovative spirit. Thinking about problems, doing work, and doing things are not new enough and not strong enough. There is an old idea of ​​seeking stability. There are not many ways to solve new problems and new contradictions. The thinking of advancing with the times and pioneering and innovating is not flexible enough.

5, the work is not enough to grasp the details. The main performance is that the work tasks are sometimes not well organized and implemented, and there is no in-depth examination and implementation, passive work and emphasis on objective reasons.

Second, the root cause analysis of the problem

1. Theoretical study is not enough. The study of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, and the important thinking of the "Three Represents" is not enough, and its scientific views are not deeply understood. Usually, the study is mostly in the form. It is only a short phrase. The study lacks profound thinking. It does not really use Marxism-Leninism's position, ideas and methods to observe new things, study new situations, and deal with new problems. Thoughts and work are subjective, limited, and one-sided, and they are not too high. They don't think too far.

2. Party spirit is not enough. In the depths of thought, the party members were not well adhered to and carried forward, and the party members were not truly established. The party’s purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly is not strong enough.

3. Insufficient update of business knowledge. In the past few years, using my spare time to learn various business knowledge, the theoretical knowledge and the level of business he has acquired have not met the requirements of knowledge update and the requirements of the work management of the department. For example, the theoretical knowledge required for road construction is insufficient. The education business is not familiar enough, the working methods have not met the requirements of scientific management, and sometimes work coping has occurred.

4. The working methods cannot keep up with the requirements of the times. First, it is still satisfied with the old work methods and ideas that are uploaded, second, lack of organizational and management capabilities, and third, work coordination needs to be improved.

1. Further strengthen the political ideals and beliefs. We must systematically study the basic theories, basic ideas, and basic methods of Marxism-Leninism through advanced educational activities.
