First, the main problems

The ideals and beliefs are not strong enough, and sometimes there are some vague understandings. I was born in the old China, grew up in a new society, and accepted the party's education for a long time. I usually talk about ideals and beliefs when I give cadres, employees, conferences, party members, and students a party class. Many practical difficulties and problems, in the short term, can not find a good solution, will affect their confidence. For example, the goal of achieving a well-off society is too difficult. The task of building a harmonious society is too heavy. The situation of maintaining social stability is quite severe. The problem of unreasonable national economic structure is difficult to resolve. The balance between regions and the income gap are increasingly different. Prominent and so on. The third is that the gap between ideal and reality is too great. Only talking about ideals and beliefs cannot solve practical difficulties and problems. Sometimes I feel that ideals and beliefs can only be talked about in the venue and in the classroom. I can see in books and lectures. Many problems in real life, such as faculty and staff, require the promotion of job title promotion, child employment, housing adjustment, income. Improvement, etc., because the school does not have the relevant conditions to solve these problems, it is difficult for us to simply use the ideals of faith to explain and persuade the work.

Theoretical study is not solid enough, and sometimes there is a tendency to break away from reality. As a leading cadre of grassroots party organizations, I pay more attention to my own theoretical study, and often take the theoretical study of the whole school, but there are still problems in which the study is not solid enough, especially the connection is not close enough. First, the system is not enough to study in depth. Political theory is often in school, but it is not enough to learn from it. Some of the important theoretical works of revolutionary instructors are just a matter of taking pictures. They have not seriously read through, repeated studies, and systematically study. They have not remembered many important issues, opinions and judgments. I have not fully understood and learned. Second, persistence is not enough. In daily work, I often look through the questions when I encounter problems. When I write the materials, I will take a look at them. When I speak, I will take a look at the lectures. When I have a busy job and a lot of things, I will put the theoretical books on the shelf, I can’t insist on studying in my spare time, and I will continue to study in the needles. , insist on studying on holidays. The third is that the theory is not enough. Political theory learning does not combine work responsibilities and ideological reality well. It cannot correctly apply Marxist theory, viewpoints and methods to discover problems, analyze problems and solve problems, resulting in sometimes unclear work ideas, inappropriate work methods, and work. no significant effect.

The sense of purpose is not strong enough, and sometimes there is a phenomenon of separation from the people. First, insist on serving the people wholeheartedly. I believe that Communists must serve the people, but it is very difficult to be truly wholehearted. He is a party member leading cadre, but his ability is limited and his authority is limited. Some problems in solving faculty and staff are beyond his own scope of authority and ability. Therefore, in working life, although I have deep feelings with the faculty and staff, I have done some practical things for the faculty and staff, and solved some difficulties. However, sometimes the faculty and staff do not understand because they are not timely enough or the results are not ideal. Even some misunderstandings have affected the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of doing good things and doing practical things for the faculty and staff. Second, it is not enough to insist on achieving, safeguarding and developing the fundamental interests of the people. Although I have tried my best to solve some practical problems for the faculty and staff, there is still a certain distance from the requirements of the faculty and the standards of the Communists. Sometimes it is difficult to solve problems that are difficult to solve, or some problems that cannot be solved, and lack of patient persuasion. The third is to go deep into the grassroots level, go deep into reality, and go deep into the people. In my usual work, although I can continue to patrol the campus every day, I can also get to know some situations in the department department, and I have a lot of talks with the faculty and staff. The performance of duties is not serious enough, sometimes lacking in pioneering and innovative spirit. First, there is fear in work. Ideological methods and working methods are difficult to adapt to the requirements of school development. For example, grasping the overall work of the school, emphasizing that the faculty and staff have more personal interests, paying less attention to the basic construction of teaching; grasping the work of the teaching center, emphasizing the daily teaching order, paying less attention to the quality of undergraduate teaching; grasping the construction of the teaching staff, emphasizing the improvement of the academic title level More, attach importance to the construction of teachers and teachers. Third, the sense of innovation and pioneering spirit are not enough. Observance of discipline is not strict enough, and sometimes there is a loose and loose situation. First, the implementation of democratic centralism needs to be strengthened. As a party member leading cadre, when the leading group discussed and studied major issues, sometimes the team members were not fully prepared and discussed, and the opinions and suggestions of the team members were not fully heard and adopted. Second, compliance with political discipline is not strict enough. When developing party members, there are very few development targets that are unfavorable to the situation, and the customs are not strict. As a squad leader, there are few people who have a heart-to-heart relationship with the team members. The team members do not know much about the real thoughts and ideas. They care and help them to solve practical difficulties. It is difficult to form a joint force. Usually, they consider that the work is too fine and sometimes encounters assault work. The insertion of a scorpion into the end has affected the enthusiasm of the school leaders and middle-level cadres; for some matters that have a direct interest to the faculty and staff, the prior investigation and research are not enough, and the solution is not in line with the actual situation. Timely and proper settlement has made some decisions and decisions of party committees and administrations not well implemented, which has seriously affected the image and prestige of party committees.

Second, the analysis of the reasons for the problem

The main reasons for the above problems are the following:

Political theory is not high. I have been engaged in leadership work for more than 30 years. After I went to work in school, I also focused on strengthening my political theory. I thought that my political theory cultivation would not be too bad, but I have proved my political theory and my own leadership. The work requirements are far apart. First, the understanding of the spirit of Marxism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thinking of the "Three Represents" is not thorough enough, and the grasp is not accurate enough. It only stays in the general time and emergency study. Second, the use of Marxist positions, viewpoints and methods to analyze the problem-solving deficiencies, although they can be consistent with the Party Central Committee in terms of ideology, politics, and action, the decision of the higher-level organization can be firmly implemented, but mostly from Starting from simple feelings, according to the basic requirements of party members, we rarely use Marxist positions to look at problems, use Marxist views to analyze problems, use Marxist methods to solve problems, and rarely use scientific development. The theory of a harmonious society guides its own practice and promotes the work of the school.

Subjective world transformation is not in place. Due to the tens of thousands of work in the school, there are many transactional tasks to be solved and dealt with on a daily basis. There is no time or a good time to seriously think about the world outlook, outlook on life and values, development concept, political outlook and service concept. The issues of view, rights and interests have always felt that they still stand the test in these aspects, and they still have a good time. There will be no problems. Therefore, they rarely consciously and actively carry out the transformation of the subjective world. As for his own understanding of the objective world, there are deviations, the grasp of the new situation in the new era is not accurate enough, the understanding of the new characteristics and new requirements of the school development is not enough, the ability to lead and control the work of the school has declined, and the school reform and development work has been resolved. The contradictions in the process are not timely enough. There are not many methods to focus on teaching and improve the quality of teaching. There are often phenomena in which subjectivity and objectivity, motivation and effect are not consistent.

The sense of purpose and the concept of the people are not strong. I always emphasize that I serve the people wholeheartedly. I also warn myself to go to the people often, care about the sufferings of the people, and listen to the voices of the people. However, in actual work, we still have not been able to serve the people wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly rely on the faculty and staff. When the reform of the school management system has experienced twists and turns, when the construction and development of the school encounter difficulties, I always think hard about myself. I can’t give the problem to the team members to discuss and use the collective wisdom. When the faculty and staff have difficulties in employment, When the faculty and staff moved to the housing renovation and encountered resistance, I also relied mainly on the functional departments to do the work. Leadership and leadership are not high. As the main leader of higher education, the party and the people have given me great trust and have given me greater responsibility. However, his leadership ability and leadership art have not been greatly improved, and his work ideas and methods have not been greatly improved. Especially in the leadership work of schools, there is still a big gap between the requirements of a politician and an educator. Some things in the school. For example, discipline construction, teacher education, laboratory work, college students' mental health education, etc., they have also invested a lot of energy, but often do not get half the work, the effect is not obvious; another example is student apartment management, classroom teaching discipline, faculty and staff decoration housing Etc. I also actively urge the relevant functional departments to increase management, but the effect is always not ideal.

Third, the direction of efforts

This advanced nature education activity has made me see some of the problems that exist in party spirit and party style. However, it is not enough to find out the problems, analyze the reasons, and see the gap. It is also necessary to clarify the direction of future efforts.

Firmly ideals and uphold convictions. The lofty ideals and beliefs have always been the spiritual driving force for the Communists to maintain their advanced nature. The communist ideal and socialist conviction are based on the Marxist theory and the understanding of the laws governing the development of human society, and are the ideals and beliefs of science. Socialism with Chinese characteristics conforms to China's national conditions and serves the interests of the people of all nationalities in the country.
