Two cups

One day, my father gave me two cups filled with dirt. My father asked me to put the cup on the window sill and water them every day.

Two weeks later, two thin leaves appeared in the soil of one of the cups. I told the father this message.

My father asked me, "You watered the soil in the two cups at the same time, and at the same time gave them hard work and sweat. Why did a new leaf grow in one cup, but nothing in the other cup? What?"

I really don't know what the secrets are. The father went on to say, "That is because I have buried one seed in one of the cups, and the other one."

“This seed represents the ideals, beliefs, and goals of life. The cup without seeds means that life has no ideals, beliefs, and goals. This means that if life has no ideals, beliefs, and goals, it is to pay more hard work and sweat. Life will not be harvested."

The next day, my father gave me two more cups, which were also filled with dirt. This time, my father asked me to only water one of the cups.

Two weeks later, a new leaf emerged from the watering cup, and nothing else in the cup that was not watered. The father said again: "In these two cups, I buried a seed, why did the watering out of the new leaves, but the one without watering?"

The father said: "That is because life is only ideal, beliefs and goals are not enough. We must know how to pay for it. Without the hard work of watering, it is the best seed, the best ideals, beliefs and goals. It’s just a mirage, a castle in the air, and it’s never a reality.”
