Since the beginning of the year, the whole town has earnestly studied the spirit of the 17th Party Congress, thoroughly implemented the scientific concept of development, and adhered to the theme of “accelerating development, enriching the people and strengthening the town” and taking the lead in “expanding opening up, emancipating the mind, changing concepts, and strengthening services”. We seized opportunities, pioneered and innovated, and actively and pragmatically carried out various tasks. The town's economic and social undertakings achieved rapid development and good development momentum.

1. The economy maintained its growth momentum and its comprehensive economic strength has increased. From January to June, the total GDP was 120 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%. The fixed assets investment was 2.2 million yuan. The agricultural production developed steadily and the total agricultural output value was realized. 33.5 million yuan, the total output value of animal husbandry is 8.4 million yuan, the total output value of fishery is 4.5 million yuan, 5,920 pigs are slaughtered, 145,000 poultry and 1040 tons of aquatic products.

2. Carefully organized and strictly operated, and completed the election of the “two committees” of the village branch. The success rate of the election was 100%.

3. Inviting investment, the town set up a small detachment with the main leadership as the leader of the investment promotion, determined the investment attraction area, and actively participated in the investment promotion activities, seeking opportunities and striving to achieve new breakthroughs. The company has already developed a good momentum of development, Hongyun Building Materials Co., Ltd. has been fully put into operation, and Tongxin Coal Preparation Plant has also partially resumed production.

4. The family planning work is progressing steadily. In accordance with the requirements of “focusing on one goal, realizing two-way assessment, highlighting three key points, strengthening four measures, and doing a good job in ten tasks”, we will implement the plan and implement the “basic basic work”. 5. The high-quality completion of the 4.7-kilometer “village-to-village” cement road project in Shuangmiao, Tangwang and Daqiao, and the construction of the 6-km flood control retreat road in Watang Lake is progressing smoothly. At present, 60% of the total project volume has been completed.

6. The road and channel hardening project of Hugang and Qianwa two socialist new rural construction demonstration villages was completed.

7. The Shuangmiao Whole Village Promotion Project Xiaoliyu Power Station and Yanggong Village Liugang Power Station Technical Transformation Project has been completed and put into use. The water damage project and channel dredging in the town have been fully completed, and the water and electricity fee collection has been completed more than 90%.
