Summary of the work of the Law Society's Intellectual Property Rights Committee

In 2019, under the leadership of the Provincial Lawyers Association, the Intellectual Property Rights Committee held high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, guided Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thinking of the "Three Represents", and earnestly implemented the spirit of the Party's 17th National Congress and the scientific development concept. Focusing on the theme of expanding the intellectual property rights business of our province, we have done the following work.

First, the annual work is deployed early, the plan is detailed, and the operability is strong.

In mid-December of 2019, the Intellectual Property Rights Commission revised and implemented the Patent Law, focusing on the work of the Intellectual Property Rights Commission in 2019 on the study and discussion of the Patent Law, and proposed that the Intellectual Property Rights Commission will be in the patent intellectual property rights. In the aspect of the event, an expert lecture was held to fully promote the participation of lawyers from across the province and to hold a forum for academic interaction. At the same time, the papers were widely mobilized by lawyers to write patents and experience in rights protection, and edited into a book. The work plan has been achieved with rich professional results, and comprehensive arrangements and deployments have been carried out, which have been affirmed and supported by the leaders of the Provincial Lawyers Association. In April, according to the requirements of the Provincial Lawyers Association, the Intellectual Property Rights Committee proposed a proposal for the division of labor for the implementation of the intellectual property rights strategy committee. The working framework of the current intellectual property rights committee was constructed.

Second, give full play to the enthusiasm of all members of the work, and coordinate the work in an orderly manner.

Due to the high requirements of the members and deputy directors of the selection of intellectual property rights committees, under the recommendation of the Intellectual Property Rights Committee, after the inspection and assessment of the Provincial Lawyers Association, the Intellectual Property Rights Committee elected two deputy directors, which greatly enriched the Intellectual Property Rights Committee. In June, the Intellectual Property Rights Commission carried out a comprehensive refinement of the duties of the directors, so that the division of labor was clear and the responsibilities were clear, which was conducive to the development of the work of the Intellectual Property Rights Commission. The specific division of labor is: Director Wei Xiaohua is fully responsible for the work of the committee; Deputy Director Zhao Hong is responsible for organizing and implementing the planning and editing of the intellectual property rights channel in Hunan Law Network; Deputy Director Lu Hong is responsible for organizing and implementing the patent business guidance and training, and organizes the editors. Editing business papers and business guides; Deputy Director Mao Ying is responsible for organizing and implementing the trademark business guidance and training, and is responsible for the secretarial work of the committee; Deputy Director Peng Jinxi is responsible for the guidance and training of the network intellectual property rights business, and is responsible for the intellectual property rights lawyers of Hunan Province. The establishment of the library, in conjunction with Deputy Director Lu Hong, organizes and edits business papers and business guides; Deputy Director Huang Huiming is responsible for organizing and implementing the guidance and training of copyright and other intellectual property rights business, and is responsible for the organization and preparation of the intellectual property rights committee. Through the division of responsibilities, the enthusiasm of the members of the committee was fully mobilized, and the work of the Intellectual Property Rights Committee was carried out in an all-out way, and the work of 2019 was comprehensively completed.

Third, go all out to run the patent forum, and the work of the Intellectual Property Rights Commission has reached a new level.

Since the beginning of this year, the Intellectual Property Rights Commission and the Network Department of the Provincial Lawyers Association have jointly launched the Intellectual Property Rights column, focusing on the results of the province's intellectual property rights lawyers and the latest developments of the Intellectual Property Rights Commission. At the same time, the Intellectual Property Rights Commission has also extensively collected the basic information of intellectual property rights lawyers throughout the province and established a province's intellectual property rights lawyers library. Of course, the most important task of the Intellectual Property Rights Commission is the work of the Intellectual Property Rights Professional Committee Annual Meeting, Patent Practice and Patent Infringement Forum. At the beginning of the event, President Dai Zhijian gave guidance on the preparatory work of the forum and put forward the requirements of the Provincial Lawyers Association to carry out special activities with the local law associations. This request has received strong support from the Hengyang City Bar Association. After several months of intense preparations, on November 13th, sponsored by the Provincial Lawyers Association, the Hengyang City Bar Association and the Intellectual Property Rights Committee hosted the 2009 Annual Meeting of the Intellectual Property Rights Committee of the Hunan Provincial Lawyers Association, Patent Practice and Patent Infringement The forum was held in Hengyang Nanyue Shenlong Shouyue International Hotel. Members of the Provincial Lawyers Intellectual Property Rights Committee and more than 100 lawyers and lawyers who are mainly engaged in intellectual property rights business participated in this forum and annual meeting. The forum hired Dong Wangzheng of the Second Division of the State Intellectual Property Office, the Deputy Director of the Hunan Provincial Intellectual Property Office, Zou Minsheng, a visiting professor at Hunan University, and Sun Yuanqing, the vice president of the Third Trial of the Civil Trial of the Hunan Higher People's Court, gave a wonderful speech. Let the province's intellectual property rights lawyers understand the latest achievements of intellectual property rights, and understand the most cutting-edge information on judicial practice of intellectual property rights and administrative law enforcement. At the same time, the forum also organized 23 papers on patents, and six lawyers exchanged experiences and interactions in the forum. Lawyers participating in the forum have said that this forum has both theoretical frontiers and physical results, and the forms are rich and varied. This event will have a far-reaching and positive impact on the development of the intellectual property rights lawyer business in our province.
