Lu Yao, a native of Qingyi County, Shaanxi Province, was born in 1949 in a poor peasant family in the mountainous area of ​​northern Shaanxi. In 1992, he became a disease, and he died young. In 1980, he published "Amazing Movement" and won the first National Outstanding Novella Award. "Life" and "Difficult Days" also won awards. In 1991, he completed the novel "Ordinary World" and won the third Contradictory Literature Award. His work "Life" was adapted into a movie and caused a huge sensation.
