Definition and classification of tracing notices

A tracing notice is a type of application used by an individual or a unit to find relatives or comrades whose whereabouts are unknown for some reason. The tracing notice can be posted on the streets, traffic lanes or population gathering places, or can be published or broadcast on newspaper radio. The classification of tracing notices is relatively simple. From the perspective of the issuer, there may be two types of tracing notices issued in the name of relatives of the parties and tracing notices issued by the public security organs or the units in which the parties are located. Judging from the situation of people leaving, people can be divided into intentional loss and unintentional loss. It is called intentional loss because of family disagreement or because the contradiction with others has not been resolved. Unintentional loss refers to the unclear situation caused by mental abnormality or old age dementia or young ignorance.
