Nurse scheduling and duty system

1. Nurse duty system

1) The hospital's clinical and emergency departments are all equipped with a 24-hour duty system. The nursing staff in the outpatient and medical technology departments can arrange according to the actual work needs.

2) Nurses should be on duty according to the weekly schedule.

3) Nurses on duty must dress up in accordance with the uniform requirements of the hospital, adhere to the nursing position, earnestly perform their duties, abide by labor discipline, and arbitrarily leave the post and leave the post.

4) On-duty nurses do a good job in patrol and clinical care according to the graded nursing requirements, carefully implement the check-up system, complete various treatment measures and basic care on time and accurately, closely observe and record the changes of critically ill patients, and prepare for rescue and Rescue cooperation, truthfully record the rescue process.

5) Nurses on duty should conscientiously implement the ward management system, manage the patients and accompanying personnel, maintain the order of the ward, ensure the safety of the ward, and create a favorable environment conducive to patient treatment and recuperation.

6) The nursing staff on duty should record the important situation of the patients in the class in the nursing record, hand over the class, and report it to the class in special circumstances.

7) In order to strengthen ward management and business leadership, the head nurse is not worth the night shift under normal circumstances.

8) The nurses must adjust the class with the consent of the head nurse and indicate on the class schedule that they cannot change the shift without the consent of the head nurse.

2. Nursing second-line duty system

1) The nurse must be a nurse with the qualification of a night nurse, a professional technician with the above nurse or above, and a nurse with a higher level of responsibility.

2) The duties of the binary nurse include:

1 Second-line nurses must have a wealth of business knowledge and strong sense of responsibility, participate in normal shifts, take turns in second-line classes at night, and ensure that they are in place within 10 minutes after receiving the call.

2 Before the second-time nurses take over the class, they should go to the department to inspect the ward to understand the situation of critically ill patients. In case of special circumstances or when the department is busy, go to the ward to guide or participate in the nursing work: organize or assist in the rescue; solve the nursing problems; handle the nursing disputes. Find out the problem and solve it in time, and make a binary record on the nursing second-line duty register.

3 The nursing problem that the second-value nurse can't solve should be reported to the head nurse or the nursing staff on time, so that the problem can be properly solved.

3) The head nurse of Da Ke should sum up the work of the second-line nurses on a monthly basis, discuss and analyze the existing problems, formulate improvement measures and implement them.

4) In order to enable second-line nurses to play their roles effectively, they should be trained.

3. Continuous scheduling system

1) The nurses work in three classes in the morning, evening and evening. The working hours of the nurses are allocated as a class 8:00-15:00, p class 14:30-22:00, n class 21:30-8:30.

2) All nurses except the head nurse's surgery room enter the apn scheduling system.

3) The daily working hours of the nurses in each class are continuous.

4) Day and night class nurses have relatively balanced manpower, and each class has a nursing team leader.

5) The night shift nurse has enough manpower, and heavy patients such as critical surgery often require double night shifts.

6) The nurses should work 35-40 hours a week, the daily work should not exceed 12 hours, and the rest time between the two classes should be more than 12 hours.

7) The nurse's handover time is included in the working hours.

8) Establish a registration card for scheduling needs, and strive to be fair, just, open and humane.

4. Clinical nurse hierarchical management system

1) Establish a hierarchical management of nurses, and set up different levels of nursing positions such as specialist nurses, senior responsible nurses, primary responsible nurses, and assistant nurses.

2) Different levels of nurses have different work permissions and treatments, and perform different job duties and tasks.

3) The nurses at all levels are relatively fixed, and each shift has a nursing team leader.

4) The job responsibilities, seniority, professional title and ability of each nurse in the same class complement each other.

5) Senior Responsible Nurses are responsible for patients with more serious conditions and more complex nursing needs, and undertake assessment/opening care/specialist care/health education.

6) Within a certain period of time, the members of the accountability team are relatively fixed.

7) Specialist nurses in Hong Kong have jobs and can play a role.

8) Level management is linked with nursing ward rounds, nursing consultations, handover classes, graded care, and check-up systems.
