Open letter of credit notification letter


Dear Sirs, Many thanks for your price-list of March 15. We have now decided to place the enclosed order with you. We have asked the Bank of HongKong,here to open a credit for @ 50,000 in your favour and this will remain valid until August 31,1985. This credit will be confirmed by The Bank of London and they will accept your draft on them at thirty days after sight for the amount of your invoice. The following documents should be attached to your draft: Two Bills of Lading Three commercial Invoices One Insurance policy Our forwarding agent will deal with marking and dispatch shipping instructions. Please inform us by cable as soon as the goods have been shiped. Yous faithfully, Chinese contrast Dear Sirs, Your letter of quotation on March 15th was received, thank you. The company has now decided to order from you, such as an attached file. The company has requested Hong Kong Bank to issue a US$50,000 letter of credit in accordance with your intention. The effective date is August 31, 1985. This L/C is confirmed by the Bank of London and they will accept the total amount of your draft and pay 30 days after the ticket. The documents payable by your bill of exchange are as follows: Bill of Lading Commercial Invoice Insurance Policy Our carrier will make the mark and make a shipping notice.
