Elementary school teacher's home visit experience

Part 1: The experience of the home teachers’ home visits

Since the launch of the "Intra-class teaching, extra-curricular visits to ten thousand" campaign, as an educator, I have actively participated in this vigorous activity, improving my awareness of educating people and enhancing the responsibility of teaching and educating people. On the premise of doing school work, I used my spare time to conduct a home visit to 51 students in my class. I saw a lot of feelings:

1. Unify thinking and clarify the main tasks of home visits

1. Understand the family situation of the students interviewed. Before conducting a home visit, we first made an in-depth understanding of the family situation of the students we visited. Because the family situation directly affects students' thinking, study and life, teachers can only improve the pertinence of education work if they have a comprehensive understanding of the specific situation of the students' families.

2. Reflect the performance of the students in the school to the parents, report more hi, and report less worry. Introduce parents to the main educational activities carried out by the school and form effective communication between the school and the family.

3. Study with parents, clarify requirements, unify thoughts, identify problems and causes in students' inner development, deepen their understanding of students, and have a clear focus on future education.

4. Advising parents to provide guidance for their parenting education. If necessary, they should introduce some basic knowledge of psychology and education to parents and discuss ways to solve problems.

Second, through effective work, home visits have achieved remarkable results

1. Through this home visit, we have fully understood the students and their families, and laid a solid foundation for promoting the healthy development of students in the future education work.

2. Through home visits, we have established communication channels with parents of students. We understand the parents' ideas at the first time and relieve parents of doubts and puzzles about school education.

3. With the home visit as the platform and students and parents as the channel, we have comprehensively publicized the school and expanded the school's popularity and reputation.

4. Through home visits, listen to the opinions and suggestions of the society on the education and teaching of our school, and give timely feedback.

Third, home visit experience

1. Good parenting education is critical to the healthy growth of adolescents.

Parents with a high degree of education have a set of effective educational methods for their children and know how to guide their children in learning and living. These parents' children often develop good behavior habits from a young age and have strong self-awareness.

Parents who are not highly educated but who are principled in life, although they lack the guidance for their children's study, they will teach the children to be human by words. These kinds of children are usually good and kind, and as long as they are guided by the learning methods, there will generally be greater progress.

There are also a few parents who have low levels of education and are too fond of their children. As the age grows, the child's temper is getting bigger and bigger. These families often have a situation of "can't manage, can't manage." Their parents can't manage it, they just want to change their children through school education.

2. Students' performance at school and their performance at home usually have large differences.

Most of the students performed well in all aspects of the school, but at home they seemed to be like another person. After the holiday, do not study, do not write homework, watch TV, video, and go online all day, and do not do any housework. These students are not concerned about family matters, but are indifferent to the affairs of the country. This is very unfavorable for the students' comprehensive cultivation of abilities and abilities. It directly leads to the extreme lack of extracurricular knowledge and relatively poor practical ability, which will definitely affect their future development.

3. Parents generally hold high expectations and requirements for schools and teachers.

From home visits, we deeply feel that parents have high expectations and requirements for schools and teachers. Some children are more likely to eat at home than others, some children are willful and spoiled, some parents are very fond of children, and children appear like this. When the parents always say that you are not obedient, they invite the teacher and feel that the teacher is omnipotent and can solve all the problems of the child. If something is found in the teacher, the parents feel particularly surprised and feel unthinkable. Parents are deeply responsible for the high expectations we have for us. How to set an example for the children, but also put forward higher requirements for us.

Education is a systematic project that requires the participation of schools, families, and society. Home visits are an important part of this systematic project and an important means of doing a good job in teaching and class management. Through a period of home visits, we have gained a lot of achievements, and we are determined to continue our purposeful, planned, and focused home visits in our future work, and contribute to the leap-forward development of the school!

Part 2: Experience in home visits

Home visits are not a strange word to our teachers. As a link between home and school, it plays an irreplaceable role. Home visits are, in the final analysis, an indispensable bridge between the school and the family to educate the children. Through home visits, you can keep abreast of the students' learning and life situation and their thoughts, so that every student can not enjoy the care given by the school while they are away from school, and listen patiently to the feedback and suggestions of parents on our work, not only the parents' understanding of the school and teachers. And support, but also deepen the feelings of teachers and parents.

Through home visits, I realized the effects that the electric interviews could not achieve. The face-to-face conversation and the listening on the phone don’t meet, the feeling and effect are different. Therefore, the tradition of this home visit cannot be gone. As the saying goes, "Emotion is the bridge of education." The old "pro" word also explains the truth: people must be familiar with each other. Therefore, the home visit can make us and the parents of the students become one, the feelings are friendly and harmonious, so that parents will no longer have any misunderstandings and blame, our work will be able to get what you want. For the home visit, the target is a late-stage student. I think that the "post-study students" will be very happy when they are praised by the teachers because of some unobtrusive advantages. The teacher can talk with the parents from the progress of the little ones and analyze the students in two parts. Use the advantages to overcome the shortcomings. Therefore, when I was visiting at home, I grasped the actual situation and adjusted it flexibly. In the relaxed and harmonious atmosphere, I raised the problems of the children, discussed and discussed the educational measures, and made the students convinced, and the parents also cooperated. The teacher's home visit will make the students feel the attention and attention of the teacher. This is an incentive for students and a touch for parents. Teachers, parents, and students are all in one room, and they are able to talk to each other and bring them closer to each other. Every visit will benefit me a lot. I will learn from each other's parents, exchange information in all aspects, and communicate feelings. Even if parents understand the performance of students in all aspects of the school and the requirements of the students, they will make me understand the students' families. The situation in all aspects and the performance of students in the family, and research with the parents of students, reached a consensus on the content and methods of educating students.

In the course of this home visit, I deeply realized that as teachers, we must actively guide parents and communicate at the same time. Parents and teachers learn from each other, trust each other, and cooperate with each other to form an educational alliance for family schools. Then our education will be more successful.

Part 3: Experiences of Home Visits by Elementary and Middle School Teachers

In the 2011-2019 winter vacation home visit, as a class guide, there are the following experiences:

1. Unify thinking and clarify the main tasks of home visits

Chapter 4: Experiences of Home Visits by Elementary and Middle School Teachers

In order to understand the family situation of the students, our school as an education system has also launched a thousand teachers to visit the Wanjia.” These two days, I visited the 12 students in our class together with the teachers who took the class. These 12 students It mainly includes students with learning difficulties, poor students, single-parent families and children of reorganized families.

The first thing I went to was our class A, who found her home after a hard time. There is a small yard, a small house, a small, dim, almost no furniture, we can only sit on the bed. The parents are very sincere and fearful. I quickly explained the intention and touched the head of Mao Xiaoyun. Mr. Feng also asked about the family situation, the situation of the children at home, and told them the school policy, the direction, the school and the teacher. With any suggestions and comments, the parents gradually relaxed and began to communicate with us naturally. Three children at home, parents are doing odd jobs, winter, odd jobs are not easy to find, they are resting at home. An old coffee table is placed with the child's winter vacation, and there is a plate with a hoe on the side. At first glance, the coffee table is the desk and the table. At this point, my heart poured into a thousand feelings, always blaming him for his untidy homework, but did not think that he was in this dimly lit room, writing every word carefully, studying hard, I couldn’t help but Pity loves the child into my arms.....

B lived far away, afraid that parents are not there, I called the parents in advance. Because they don't know the road, the parents will come out to meet us. While walking and talking, it took a long time to get to his home in the cold wind. I didn’t expect this child to go to school so far every day. It’s really hard! Every time he is late, I criticize him. He always keeps his head down and never confesses me. It’s awkward! When I sat in his simple home, I expressed that the child was very hard to go to school. I didn’t expect that the parents said that there is nothing like this. Workers from Xinjiang who are from poor areas in the mainland can get up to school. I want to know that because they are in the remote mountainous areas in the Mainland, don’t say that they are going to school, that is, eating a full stomach is a problem! Although they are very young, B's mother is only 26 years old this year, but she has not learned a day. The biggest achievement is to give B another brother, a younger sister. Although the conditions in the home of other students are worse now, it is the greatest comfort for the parents to go to school.

The poor families visited, the parents are migrant workers from the mainland, and there is no fixed income. Very young, but because there is no poverty, there are at least two children in each family. Poor living conditions, poor learning environment, parents go out early and late every day to survive and run around without any concern for children to learn. Through the visit, I learned about the situation of the students and felt that the burden on my shoulders was even heavier. 80% of our schools are migrant workers from other places, and they are called migrant children's schools by outsiders. In our class, migrant workers account for 70%. These children, like all children in the city, are eager for knowledge and eager to grow. They have the excellent qualities that urban children do not have, such as simplicity, hard work, strong willpower, and self-care ability. However, they are not easy to educate in terms of behavior habits, study habits, and habits, because parents are busy and have no culture. The lack of vocational education, students have a narrow vision. As a language teacher and class teacher, you should do more careful work, but also have more patience. The key is to have a love. Parents are busy with their livelihoods, and their children’s love is lacking. Therefore, as a teacher, you should give more love to these children. I think even if the parents have no culture, even if the family is poor, as long as the school can give a relaxed and loving environment, these children will be excellent!
