Chinese traditional festivals, including the Mid-Autumn Festival, are the cultural wealth that the Chinese have contributed to the world and the future.

In order to celebrate this ancient traditional festival in China, we also took the opportunity to carry out national traditional culture and grateful education for our students. Under the leadership of the school’s leadership, our class successfully launched the “My Mid-Autumn Festival” theme class and “remembering relatives, Blessing loved ones, grateful loved ones, determined to become a talented person - a letter to a loved one" and other discussion activities. People, speaking Chinese, and passing the patriotic feelings of the Chinese festival.

The Mid-Autumn Festival has a long history. Like other traditional festivals, it has gradually developed. The ancient emperors have a spring festival and a ritual system for the autumn festival. As early as in the book Zhou Li, there is already the word "Mid-Autumn Festival". Record. Later, the aristocrats and literati bachelors also followed suit. In the Mid-Autumn Festival, they were bright and round in the sky, watching the worship, and bearing their feelings. This custom was passed on to the people and formed a traditional activity until the Tang Dynasty. This custom of worshipping the moon is more important to people, and the Mid-Autumn Festival has become a fixed festival. The "Tang Shu Tai Zong Ji" records "August 15 Mid-Autumn Festival", which is popular in the Song Dynasty, and it was with the New Year's Day in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It has become one of the main festivals in China.

The legend of the Mid-Autumn Festival is very rich, and the myths such as the rushing moon, Wu Gangrugui, and the rabbits and peony are widely spread. The students learned about the legends of the dynasties of the Mid-Autumn Festival: one of the legends of the Mid-Autumn Festival - 嫦娥 月 ;; the second half of the Mid-Autumn Festival legend - Wu Ganggui; the third of the Mid-Autumn Festival legend - Zhu Yuanzhang and the moon cake uprising. The students also arranged cork boards with interest and made urban building models with discarded moon cake boxes. They both environmentally friendly and developed the hands-on ability and imagination of the students, combined with the trend of the times to reflect the strong Chinese sentiment.

Through a series of activities, the students not only learned more about the Mid-Autumn Festival knowledge and story, but also gave students a deeper understanding and love for this traditional Chinese festival and traditional culture. Moreover, they also made the students know how to be grateful. In return, a good “grateful” education was given to all the students, which inspired the students to study hard and repay their parents’ feelings.

This class will leave a wonderful memory for the students. This Mid-Autumn Festival theme class will allow us to unite more closely together in the future, to get along more friendly and happy, and to make the Chinese traditional culture connotation better.
