First, raise awareness and strengthen leadership. In order to effectively carry out the publicity activities of the grain science and technology activities week, from the trend of wheat consumption development, people's changes in the quality requirements of wheat flour, as well as flour nutrition enhancement, flour additives, staple food culture and other aspects of in-depth publicity. The theme of our county activity in 2019 was: the nutrition and health of wheat flour. At the same time, in order to strengthen the leadership of this work, the Yongping County Grain Bureau Food Science and Technology Activity Week Publicity Work Leading Group was established. The team leader is the deputy director in charge of the purchase and sales work. The deputy team leader is the chief of the purchase and sales unit, and the members are from the bureau office and finance. The statistical unit, the head of the grain and oil company, the leading group has an office in the purchase and sale unit, and the head of the office is concurrently the head of the purchase and sale unit.
Second, increase the intensity of publicity work. Make full use of radio and television, blackboard newspapers, and publicity materials to pay attention to food security and protect the health of the people. Highlight the integration of science and technology and promote the food culture of “for the benefit of the cultivators and the benefit of the eater”. Highlight technology and life, and publicize food science and technology knowledge related to people's health. Focusing on food safety and publicizing relevant common sense, it is mainly through the analysis of major cases, increasing the knowledge of people's food safety and enhancing people's awareness of food safety. At the same time, publicize laws and regulations such as the Food Safety Law. The event was attended by seven townships, thirty-six villages, and the use of county town streets for publicity. A total of 1,500 publicity materials were distributed, with 16,000 publicity targets.
Third, highlight the focus of publicity work. With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, people's consumption concept of wheat has developed from the original subsistence to safety, nutrition and health. Wheat production, storage, processing, nutrition, special-purpose flour, fortified flour and main food nutrition, comprehensive utilization of wheat and other related knowledge. Promote food testing standards, science and technology projects and achievements, food health and safety status and knowledge, food and food history and culture, history of food science and technology development, food storage and processing circulation and other traditional evolution, food science and technology development status and trends, focusing on promoting China's staple food culture .
