In the second half of the year, we invested in the construction of the large ethylene project. In this project, we have to dismantle the 11-face low-voltage disk, and the old 6-sided disk cabinet, and remove the bismuth catalytic substation in the butyl octanol plant of the second chemical plant. All motor cables that are fed out are re-applied to the old low-voltage disk. Among them, we need to reverse the motor load of 13 units. Although this work does not need piping, the original cable protection tube is used, but the working environment is very complicated. There are both inflammable and explosive places, as well as dangerous places that are toxic and harmful. A little bit of care can lead to a fatal danger like a gas leak. This requires us to take safety measures at the scene. As a safety officer, I must supervise whether the construction personnel have violated the regulations, and also have the construction conditions on the work site to urge our staff to enter the site. My duties give me supervision of construction safety and guarantee that life and property will not be unnecessarily lost. I am responsible for the brethren who share my hardships with me, and I am responsible for the goal of zero accidents and zero injuries for my unit during the year. Therefore, we must not be taken lightly. We must familiarize ourselves with each site and make safety measures and communicate them to each team member. They should be familiar with the risk factors at the scene and the escape route after the danger. They need to confirm the construction conditions at the site before work, do all the procedures and do the oxygen measurement and explosion work. Although this process is very cumbersome, it is the only choice to ensure safety. There are still many complicated factors in this project. Our construction must be synchronized with the overhaul of the installation. Since this year is not overhaul, the construction period of the inspection is relatively short. The old low-voltage disk incoming line was taken from the butanol substation. The construction unit required us to work only at night during the docking.
