In 1978, Taiwan’s “Business Times” was launched, and I officially became a new reporter with no experience at all. At that time, our opponent, "Economic Daily", had been in existence for more than 10 years. During the interview, the respondents had a few words, and the reporters of the "Economic Daily" had already understood it; and because of the lack of background knowledge, I often caught it and suffered. .

Faced with this situation, I came up with one of the most stupid ways to read the Economic Daily from the first word to the last word, not just the content, but also all the advertisements.

This is of course a boring, boring and extremely painful process. The newspaper is full of names, company names, industry names, product names, plus numbers, expertise, proper nouns... In the first week, I only Can't read half, can't read? Look at it three times and talk about it first.

This is actually a very stupid way, but the effect is excellent. After a month, I roughly figured out the main people, companies, and industries in the mall at that time, and I also grasped the important issues that are taking place. When the "Business Times" was first published on December 1, my understanding of the basic knowledge, dynamics and ins and outs of the economy was comparable to that of the old reporters of the economic "Economic Daily". I used the most stupid way to make up for the biggest shortcomings of new reporters in the shortest possible time.

Life is a long marathon competition, and we must move forward with a steady pace. But life often encounters difficult and difficult times. At this time, we must use extraordinary means and sprint all the time to have a chance to break through. Everyone has a different method of sprinting, and my method of chasing the old reporter's 10 years of experience in 3 months is the ultimate in my hard work and my masterpiece of rapid growth.

First of all, I set a goal of 3 months. This is almost impossible in common sense. Secondly, I chose the most stupid method - rote memorization; finally, I used to work 16 hours a day, except sleeping. I am studying interviews with 8 hours of eating. This experience has laid the foundation for my "fast speed" work. I can work at a steady pace in normal situations, but I know how to sprint when necessary.

Without this kind of "fast speed" experience, don't say that you have experienced life.
