By being a foundation, being with them in a very normal way, not relief, is getting along with the family. I want to bring this equality to more children, even if they can't get into college in the future, but they can be satisfied and confident.

I am a child who grew up on the Tiananmen Square. Equality is something in my bones. When I was in high school, I once bet on people to see who is more valuable to society after 30 years.

In the decades that followed, my work was envied and everything seemed to be going well. The transition took place in 2005, and I was responsible for making an educational website at HSBC. I systematically studied urban education in China and found deep anxiety and arrogance. Every parent wants to give their children a unique and outstanding life, to receive education, and to choose from high-profile, but to some universal education. The idea is hard to accept.

From 2003 to 2007, I followed the Guru Rinpoche several times to and from Sichuan, which opened my other half of my life. When I went to the countryside with the chairman of the Women's Federation, I saw a family in the black house, all of which had only one pot, and the children cried with our legs. On the Panshan Highway where the Ganzi people are sparsely populated, the Tibetan boy I met happened to tell him that he was the whole life, which touched my thinking about the future of Tibetan children. I am determined to do something for the brothers and sisters in the mountains. In June 2007, I resigned from a financial institution and started the True Love Dream Foundation.

We only do one thing, the "dream center", which is aimed at the quality education in the countryside. At the beginning, the construction experts were invited to the scene to design the children's favorite places for learning and activities. Later, Professor Cui Yunwei from East China Normal University also came to design courses for children.

Public welfare needs to be introduced into commercial management

We originally came from financial institutions and all know that integrity is the first. Help others manage money, you are opaque, how can people give you money. The same is true for non-profit organizations. The core point is that the foundation is bigger. Your money is also given to you by others. If you help others to spend money, you should not make the money clear. In financial institutions, this is called fiduciary responsibility.

I and Wu Chong originally looked at the balance sheet every day. When I first entered this field, the financial statements of some official public welfare organizations were unacceptable. Opaque and inefficient have affected donors’ trust in charities. Before setting up the dream of true love, we conducted market research and evaluated external and internal resources. A charitable foundation, like a business, must have its own main business, and everything can be done without doing anything. I will introduce commercial management into public welfare, manage it according to the way of commercial organizations, improve efficiency, and protect credit. This is also the original intention of my full-time public welfare.

In 2019, a series of negative events made the public welfare industry enter a low tide, and the whole society focused on the transparency of information disclosure of public welfare organizations. At this time, CCTV paid attention to the "naked newspaper" form of true love dreams. For a time, we received much attention and praise from the society. This is inseparable from the commercial operation that the true love dream has always adhered to.

As a private foundation established by financial management professionals, the goal of true love is to achieve a combination of commercial management and public welfare goals in the public welfare fund. In the past five years, true love dreams have continuously explored multiple forms of disclosure, maximizing information disclosure and gaining the trust of all sectors of society and participants.

Make charity more efficient

In all aspects of public welfare behavior, the rational application of professional business and financial management models will help improve the efficiency of public welfare behavior itself.

In 2019, my team and I accepted more than 45.7 million yuan of public welfare donations, of which public welfare projects spent more than 27.4 million yuan. A total of 381 dream centers and 115 dream book houses have been built, and an "dream center" has been built every 1.4 days. As of May 2019, the number of dream centers has reached 790, distributed in 30 provinces and cities across the country, serving 860,000 rural teachers and students and children of urban migrant workers.
