Life should not be spent in front of a computer monitor. The true meaning of life is who you love, what kind of lifestyle do you have, and who you travel around the world. Life is first and foremost a social experience. The best part of this experience should not be spent alone, but should be shared with others.

I am very happy to be here, and it is my pleasure to be invited. It is my pleasure to meet the new generation of Boston University "Terber".

But I think this sentence is a good summary of a truth, which contains a force that can interpret ordinary life with elegance, love and dignity.

Ok, that is your own business, I can't do it for you. However, what I know is that I only know one thing: no graduate can choose the society that is about to enter, just like you can't choose your own parents and brothers and sisters! Every graduate has its own unique challenges. As soon as each graduate enters the society, he will witness the birth of history. At this point, everyone is the same.

But the difference is that every graduate has the opportunity to participate in that period of history and to make it more exciting, or, in my jargon, to "edit" it better. At this point, the opportunities for your generation are better than any generation in modern history.

You can write code for all of us. The way you connect with each other is something that your predecessors could not dream of. You are using these connections to reinforce the invisible ties that are in humanity and deepen our understanding of the world in which we live. You symbolize all kinds of possibilities, and that will define this new era. In the past, the older generation always taught the next generation of the rules of the society in a condescending manner – ensuring that they followed suit.

In short, you are teaching us. This generation - your generation - is the first generation of "comprehensively interconnected" people, no one before. What are you doing the first thing to get up in the morning? Right? Check your phone, open your notebook, read some emails, and go through your social networking site?

They shape our times and define the attributes, identities and connections of human beings. You need to absorb these ancient concepts and reinvent them to make them look new and exciting. Boston University has set the stage for you to complete the task.

I know this is terrible. The economic situation outside is not ideal now, I am very clear. However, you have an advantage - competitive advantage, your mastery of technology is innate, this ability to create and develop connections is not what your predecessors have, this is a very very special skill.

People complain that your generation is facing the screen all day, always connected with something or someone. Those people are wrong. Nowadays, all of us are in contact with each other. This is a blessing, not a curse. We can solve many problems in the world. This is not only your advantage, but also your responsibility.

Today, there are 54 wars and conflicts in the world, which is terrible. The daily living cost of 1.5 billion people is less than one dollar, and hundreds of millions of children will go to sleep hungry tonight, which is terrible.

Speaking of the Internet, we always think that "everyone" is online - now, we are all online. However, today, only 1 billion people in the world have smart phones, and only 2 billion people have access to the Internet. That requires innovation and entrepreneurship.

Innovation is destructive. I tell you a little: when people are worried about you, you are innovating! Dear students, please let others worry - but don't worry your parents. Entrepreneurship is the lifeblood of a new economy and a more prosperous society. It is the engine that drives community development. Two-thirds of new jobs are created by small businesses, and you should now try to start a small company or become a member of them.

Of course, I would recommend you to use Google's products to assist in business. You all have the opportunity to make a unique contribution, not to follow the eyes and thoughts of others. New models, new forms, new thinking, etc., that is what we ask you.

You don't have to be a rescuer or a teacher. You don't have to be an engineer. Everyone – all of you – can take the talent and innovation standards to a new level and leave your own excitement.

You see, the computer can do a lot of things. The power of the things in your pocket is the imagination of your proud parents and grandparents in the audience. These computers, which have speed, have memories, and they have intricate, intricate lines and circuits. But there is one thing they don't have, and what they don't have is the soul.

Everything you create – the digital bonds that hold our humanity together – cannot be achieved without technology. However, without you, without the soul, it is impossible to achieve. You have a heart. Without you, the future will not beat.
