I hope that the students have such confidence. This confidence is like the title of my lecture. Never use your status quo to judge your future. People sometimes make two mistakes in their lives: the first mistake is that you will conclude that you have nothing to do. You will say that my family is not good, my parents are farmers, or my university is not good, not as good as Peking University or Harvard. The university, or I am so ugly, that no one can see me at all, and thus conclude that there is basically no interest in this life. When I was at Peking University, I basically decided my own. I decided that I would almost kill myself. Because I decided that I had no interest, I became very depressed, and finally got a tuberculosis. What is the second mistake? Classmates, we often judge other people's mistakes. For example, if you see someone around you, it seems to be quite boring. This person's performance is not good, and no one likes it. You conclude that this guy has nothing to do in this life. Therefore, the two most common mistakes we make in our life are: one feels that they may not have a big role in this life; the other is that others will not do anything.

Looking to the future, there are usually two kinds of people: one who wants to make a difference and who firmly believes that his future will make a difference; and one who does not believe that he will make a difference from the bottom of his heart. . The students think about it, what kind of person will succeed in the future? It must be a kind of person in front. why? The reason is simple, because people are such animals, that is, how big the heart is, how far you can go. If you want to get out of this auditorium, it only takes a minute; if you want to go out of the campus of Nanguang College, it will take less than half an hour; if you want to go out of Nanjing, it will be two hours. However, if you want to travel the world, your heart must go to the world. Why can I still stand here and talk to you today? It is because I have a feeling since I was a child. This feeling is a kind of desire to cross the horizon and go to the distance. I hope that I can continue to cross. Like Wang Wenshi, a famous Chinese entrepreneur and Vanke Group, he wants to climb to the highest peak in the world, climb once, and want to climb for the second time. He knows that every conquest brings a new height to himself, and that is how it feels. I know that none of the students here will have no dreams, no one will have no desire, no one will say that I will go to the land in this life, no one will say so. It is because of the people who do it, he must believe from the bottom of his heart that he will be able to do things in his life. Although I was more inferior when I was at Peking University, but behind this inferiority, I still believe that since I can fight from a peasant son to a Peking University student, I can struggle from Peking University to a higher level. I am from the bottom of my heart. I believe that I can do it, so I will do it. Of course, this belief is not blind self-confidence, not arrogance, not to say that others think that you are not a person, you still feel that you are quite a human being, but a rational self-confidence, behind the confidence is continuous efforts.

The second mistake I just said is that you better not make it. If you make a second mistake, you will be even more dangerous. why? You will lose a business partner who may be working with you in the future. For example, if you see the classmates around you, you may feel that the last few in the class will basically not have a future, but it turns out to be the opposite. Peking University once conducted a survey on the top five students in the class and the last five students in the class after 20 years of graduation. When I was at Peking University, my performance was not very good, and I was born in the countryside. I was far from the beginning. Especially the female classmates in our class are basically not looking at me. When I entered Peking University, there were 25 boys and 25 girls in our grade. A series of things that have appeared in my life are not within my expectations. I believe that the chairman of our Pushu now has such a wonderful university campus and is not within his own expectations. I especially admire the chairman of Pu Shulin. He looks better than me, but I don't jealous of his appearance. However, after I walked into this campus today, I was jealous of him. How could he make such a beautiful campus when he was in muddy land five years ago? I have dreamed for 20 years and want to build a university campus. I haven't made it yet. So everyone can see that life is unpredictable. You should never expect to be able to do what you can do in this life. As long as you grow up, as long as you move forward bravely, you will be able to do things that you can't imagine.

Life struggle is a lifetime process

After I entered Peking University, I also felt that my classmates were ministers' children, professors' children, and they had everything. Just as the state collects taxes, it must be redistributed to support the construction of poor areas and the lives of ordinary people. If the taxes we pay are in the pockets of corrupt officials, this is called unfair distribution of resources; if we finally transfer them through fiscal revenue, the payment is distributed to the poor people. For example, children can graduate from the first grade to the middle school for free. This is called resource fairness distribution. Social entrepreneurs need to do social charity activities. For example, New Oriental now sponsors poor college students in rural areas every year to enable them to complete their studies at the university. Now students often have a problem, too much money, too many choices, so don't cherish it. Nanguang College may be able to do a hundred years because the university campus is non-profit in a sense and may end up with social donations and support. But New Oriental is living in a market economy. The market economy is the economy of your life and death, so New Oriental may not be careless. But what does it matter if it is gone?
