5. The provisions of the contract relating to the warranty are indispensable and the responsibility must be clarified. If it is a quality problem of construction or materials, the decoration company shall bear full responsibility; if it is improperly used by the user, both parties may negotiate. These must be clearly written in the contract. The general decoration company's warranty period for the project ranges from three months to one year. You should choose a company with a longer warranty period.

6. Avoiding unreachable terms, many home decoration complaints are brought about by unrealistic contractual terms. Some contractual provisions stipulate the quality of construction that cannot be achieved under the relevant project quotation. Some contract clauses stipulate the indoor air environment clause that cannot be achieved under any conditions. For example, one of the owners asked in the additional clause of the contract that “after the completion of the renovation, the professional monitoring agency should monitor the indoor environment and require absolute environmental protection in the room”. But what is "absolute environmental protection"? First of all, the concept is not clear, not to mention that all renovated homes will have certain environmental pollution problems to varying degrees, and no one or any company can do “absolute environmental protection”. Therefore, this requirement is generally not supported when contract certification is carried out.

Therefore, I suggest that you do not consider the requirements that cannot be met under the current market reality when signing the contract. Because even if this is done, the decoration company agrees to sign the contract, and there will be no trouble in the future.
