I have been pursuing the pace of CAREER, hoping to give hope to more young people by planning for it. But young people are pursuing "life", beautiful clothes, shoes, and so on. When asking them what is more important, they say that "money" is very important, and "ideal" is very important, but when you ask deeply about what your ideals are, you don't know why.
To be honest, career planning is quite "virtual". It is impossible for the visitors to realize their so-called ideals immediately, and they can't make a chest to ensure that they can earn "big money" when they make a career plan, and they can go all the way! However, as a professional practitioner, I think I still have an obligation to repeatedly emphasize the use of "career planning", hope that more people know it, and use it consciously! What is the use of career planning?
Career planning is a process of analyzing and measuring subjective and objective factors that determine an individual's career choices, determining individual goals and career goals, and rational planning for career planning.
Career planning requires you to position yourself in one of the most important factors based on your own factors such as “professional interests, personality traits, aptitudes, and professional knowledge and skills you have learned”, taking into account various external factors. Be able to take advantage of your strengths to maximize your self-worth. A person whose career goal is consistent with his life goal is happy, and career planning is essentially the process of pursuing the best career.
A study by Dr. Edward Banfield of Harvard University on the dynamics of American social progress found that those who succeeded were often people with long-term ideas. They use long-term perspectives when planning daily, weekly, and monthly activities. They will plan for a future project of five, ten or even twenty years. They allocate resources or make decisions based on what they expect to be in a few years. The results of this research have important implications for those who have just entered the society.
Case: At a large-scale job fair in Xi'an, Li Hui, who graduated from a famous university, applied for a position as a mechanical engineer to a Zhejiang auto company. He studied mechanical majors. During the university, he had excellent homework. In the five or six years after graduation, he was engaged in the sales and quality supervisors of medicines, air conditioners, locomotives, etc., and changed six or seven jobs, but no machinery. Work experience in terms of aspects. After looking at his situation, the recruiter thought that although he saw that Li had a wide range of work experience, if he had been working mechanically after graduation, it was the candidate that the company needed, but because there was no such work. Experience, the company can not hire him.
Li Hui's example shows that many college students are more blindly employed and bring harm to themselves. Because there is no long-term plan, many college students just change their jobs when they are young, and they have no professional position in their 30s. Under such circumstances, it is not a big way to continue, and it takes a lot of effort to relocate and has to fall into an embarrassing situation.
Persistence change is the accumulation of power in life, which requires a long-term concept of time. Take sales as an example. The meaning of your sales career is that, in general, you must be willing to invest more than three or five years to become a true sales elite. This long-term commitment will completely change your attitude towards training, daily work, customers, yourself, the environment, and other jobs. The Japanese god of life insurance sales, Ihara, was just starting to do business. In the first seven months, he did not sell a policy. He had to go hungry every day and slept in the park at night.
Good people generally have long-term plans for themselves and their lives. The long-term vision of career planning is an important condition for our future career to reach its peak. Success is a price to pay. You must work hard for at least a few years to reach the limit of your ability to make money and let you enjoy the desired lifestyle. It is necessary to pay the price first, and continue to work hard for several years to achieve a truly valuable goal. No matter which line you want to go out of, you have to invest at least five years to prepare. No matter which line you are doing, if you want to excel, you must be fully prepared for at least three or five years. It takes a long time for you to develop enough professional skills to succeed in a highly competitive market. Otherwise, if we change the city frequently, change the industry we are engaged in and the specific work we do, then as we change jobs, we will accumulate relevant knowledge, skills, work experience and interpersonal relationships in the circle. Will not be used, and may eventually graduate like Li Hui, as mentioned above, for many years. I have not really found a career that suits me, and I have not really established my own unique competitive advantage. There is no confidence in the continuation of the existing work, and repositioning will take a lot of effort.
Instead of knowing what to do in the future, it is better to calm down and pave the way for the future. It’s better to plan ahead, isn’t it?
