According to the survey, 66.7% of the old party members did not expect to find a party organization when they had difficulties; almost all the old cadres thought that they had not been able to pass the treasures to the new party members and the new team.

6. The main tasks of the retired cadres’ party branch in the future

1. Propagandize and implement the party's line, principles, policies, and resolutions of party organizations at all levels, and organize retired cadres to play a vanguard and exemplary role in safeguarding, caring, and supporting the overall situation of reform, opening up, and modernization.

2. Organizing retired cadres to earnestly study Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, and Deng Xiaoping's theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics and the party's line, principles, and policies. In the ideological, political, and operational aspects, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Jiang Zemin at the core be consistent.

3. Strengthen ideological and political work, carry out talks and activities, and enable retired cadres to maintain and carry forward the party's fine traditions, so that they will not fade and maintain the revolutionary evening.
4. Always understand, listen to and truthfully reflect the opinions, suggestions and requirements of retired cadres to the higher-level party organizations and relevant departments, and continue to implement the political and living treatment of the veteran cadres.
5. Give full play to the residual heat of retired cadres, especially in areas such as patriotism education, revolutionary traditional education, party style and clean government building, and care for the next generation of education.
