Tourism Association Work Summary

Under the strong support and care of the Municipal Tourism Administration and the Civil Affairs Bureau, our Tourism Association closely focuses on the purpose of “self-management, self-discipline, self-service”, and strengthens the association's own construction as a breakthrough to lead and unite member units. Active exploration and solid work have better played the role of the association and promoted the development of the city's tourism economy. Looking back at the work of the Association in 2003, we mainly did the following work:

First, based on the development of the association, the association's own construction has been strengthened. First of all, the organization of the association has been strengthened. In 2003, the first year of the establishment of the Association for the approval of the Civil Affairs Bureau, we organized the inaugural meeting of the Association and the first general meeting of the members. On the basis of full elaboration, the leading bodies of the association were elected to provide the smooth work of the association. Organizational guarantee. Second, strengthen the construction of the association system. In order to ensure that the work of the association has rules to follow, on the basis of full experience of the field, we have drafted and revised the "Regulations of Xiangfan Tourism Association" in strict accordance with the procedures, and formulated the "Regulations on the Self-discipline of Industry of Member Organizations". By strengthening the management of the system, the work of the association has entered the track of formalization, scientific and standardized management from the very beginning.

Second, based on the coordination role, the industry has strengthened its self-discipline work. In order to change the vicious low-price competition of tourism enterprises in our city and restrict the unfavorable situation of the healthy development of tourism economy in the whole city, at the beginning of the establishment of the association, we actively took the initiative to cooperate with the municipal tourism management department to strengthen the national tourism market order as an opportunity to strengthen The industry itself manages. In order to curb the non-uniformity of the travel agency's external quotation as a breakthrough, the organizers issued a unified product, unified price, unified promotion of the initiative, received the echo of the member units and the city's tourism management department. In order to carry out the self-discipline work in depth, we have also formulated the industry integrity convention, publicly promised to the society, accept social supervision, and make the industry self-discipline move to a higher level, effectively promote the standardized management of the city's tourism market, and be subject to the city's tourism management department. Third, based on the use of staff assistants, the investigation and research has been strengthened. In response to the reality that the city's tourism enterprises operate a loose sand and the city's tourism development level is not high, together with the Municipal Tourism Bureau, the tourism enterprises have been organized to hold fraternity meetings and symposiums to understand the situation, exchange information and strengthen investigation and research. Through fruitful work, I have figured out the crux of the tourism development of our city, and wrote a paper entitled "Recommendations on Measures to Build a Tourism Market in Our City", which has been highly valued by the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Government and the Municipal Tourism Administration. In the past year, although our work has achieved certain results, because the tourism association is a new thing, there are still some shortcomings in the work.
