In the past year, it was the year of the new and old two sessions of the Men’s Association. In the middle of the year, the New and Old Committees united and organized the city’s gateball workers and enthusiasts in accordance with the requirements of the "Three Represents" important thinking and the scientific development concept, in accordance with the "Sports Law", in order to popularize the city's door. The ball movement has improved the level of sports technology; it has done a lot of fruitful work to expand sports exchanges and enhance friendship with people from all countries and regions, and has achieved certain results.
I. Successful completion of the Association's re-election work According to the regulations of the Association, the third session of the Shanghai Men's Gate Association has expired in April 2005. In order to do a good job in a stable and orderly manner, under the care and guidance of the leaders of the Shanghai Municipal Sports Bureau and the Municipal Sports Federation, under the joint efforts of Liu Shiyu, Chairman of the Third Committee of the Shanghai Gateball Association, and all members, Shanghai On August 31, 2005, the City Gateball Association held the 4th member representative conference of the Shanghai Men's Gate Association at the Olympic Club. At the meeting, a new representative committee consisting of 90 people was elected. At the same time, the new governing body of the association and its work team were elected. Li Wei, deputy director of the Municipal Sports Bureau and vice chairman of the Chinese Men's Ball Association, attended the meeting and congratulated him. In his warm speech, he raised ardent expectations for the future work of the new association.
Second, organize research and determine the goal to revitalize the glory and glory of Shanghai's croquet. It is the common aspiration of the new and old goalkeepers in recent years, and is also the work goal set by the new association. It is one of the important ways for us to achieve this grand vision by opening a broad road, taking the popular route, and cooperating with the development of the goal. To this end, the city's gate association carried out a series of research work during the year, and held a seminar on the goalkeeper's work, a croquet club work symposium, and a croquet team exchange meeting on issues of common concern.
Through the investigation, everyone recognized the situation, unified the thoughts, established confidence, and clarified the direction. Everyone feels that the development of Shanghai's croquet is good. We should seize the opportunity and focus on five aspects: First, strengthen organizational construction, form a network of three levels of city, district, and street as soon as possible, and give full play to the role of organizations at all levels. The second is to seize the opportunity of the government to build a community public playground, speed up the construction of the gate court facilities, create a good sports environment for the majority of gateball enthusiasts; third, strengthen the team building of coaches, athletes, referees and managers. In order to promote the popularization and improvement of the croquet movement in Shanghai, it provides abundant talent resources; the fourth is to vigorously organize influential events and activities to continuously expand the influence of the croquet movement in Shanghai; the fifth is to actively raise funds for the sustainable development of the croquet in Shanghai. Development provides protection.
Third, organize events, promote popularization Last year, the city's gateball events continued to be continuous and colorful, providing a rich fitness life for Shanghai residents. The 7th Senior Citizens Games Gateball Competition of Shanghai was held from May 20th to 25th at the gate of Gaodong Town, Pudong New Area. A total of 118 sports teams participated. Among them: men's Group A 32 teams; Men's Group B 48 teams; Women's Group A 28 teams; Women's Group B 10 teams. Suburban township teams account for about 44% of the total number of teams. In 2005, the “Guangming Milk Powder Cup” Shanghai Senior Men's 100th Team Competition was held on October 21st at the Minhang District Stadium. The final team of the sports team reached 96.
What is particularly gratifying is that the grassroots activities have increased significantly last year. There are still many grassroots events like this, such as the “Great Red Eagle Cup” gateball tournament held by the newly established Red Eagle Club; the city’s old cadre activity center held the “July 1st” door on the occasion of the completion of the new gate stadium. The development of these grassroots team activities has enriched their amateur cultural life and played a positive role in promoting the popularization and improvement of the doorball.
Last year, the Association Coach Technical Committee and the Competition Jury Committee conducted training activities. The City Men's Coaching Technical Committee has trained nearly 140 coaches and referees. They have obtained certificates of completion through serious study and strict assessment. During the National Fitness Festival held in the city, the two comrades of the City Men's Association, Wang Zhen and Ni Yaohui, introduced the goal goal to Chongming County, and invited the City Men's Association Competition Committee to impart knuckle knowledge to the backbones of eight townships. Fourth, organize exchanges and expand the influence
In 2005, a total of 16 teams participated in national and local competitions. Among them, Hongqiao Town Shanghong Middle School participated in the 4th National Children's Gateball Tournament held in Langfang City from August 13th to 15th. Ranked seventh; the Shanghai Old Cadre Team participated in the "Omron Cup" croquet tournament in the six provinces of East China held in Jinan from September 15th to 17th, ranking fourth. Although these achievements are not ideal enough, we will go out and exchange ideas with the brother provinces and municipalities. This will broaden our horizons, understand the latest trends in gantry skills and tactics, see our own gaps, and clarify the direction we should work hard. It is undoubtedly a harvest.
On February 18th of this year, we also warmly and welcoming the Japanese civic civic team in the county, and arranged for them to have a friendly match with the Luwan District goal team and the Sanmin Village goal team at the Pudong Sanmin Village Gate Stadium. Through the competition, the friendship between the two peoples has been further deepened. They also called after returning to China, and expressed their deep gratitude. They said that they will invite the Luwan District team to return to Japan’s Zhixian County at an appropriate time around February 2006 to further strengthen the non-governmental exchanges between the two countries.
From December 7th to 10th, the Gaodongmen team and the western suburbs of Hongqiao Town of Minhang were invited to participate in the celebration of the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region and the goalball friendship gathering organized by the Macao Special Administrative Region Sports Development Bureau and the Macau Men’s Federation. V. Organizing the selection and promotion of advanced croquet has been carried out in the city for 20 years.
