Internal summary, external communication

When we strongly felt that the materials of the Student Union lacked experience and information, we decided not to let this situation continue to the next session. Proposed and supervised by the office, we focus on the exchange of work summaries and experiences. This semester we also actively prepared the production of the Student Union Yearbook.

In terms of external communication, we began to “go out”. Under the efforts of the out-of-town students, each project of the new festival was sponsored by different circles of the society. The main student cadres were also invited to participate in many brother school activities, gained a lot of experience, and left them to share with other colleagues.

Second, in line with the construction of a safe campus, improve students' ideological consciousness

1. Freshman Live Writing Competition

With the theme of loving life, it attracted 58 students from eight colleges. Adopt the form of on-the-spot proposition writing and follow the principles of fairness, justice and fairness. 4. Freshman debate

Insufficient summary, strengths and weaknesses

During this semester, the students have strengthened their own construction through solid work, carried out a variety of activities, won the support and trust of the majority of teachers and students, and made unremitting efforts for the construction of a good campus culture. However, while affirming the results, we must also clearly understand our shortcomings.

First, the supervision and management mechanism is not effective

Although various student union systems, assessment systems, and reward and punishment systems have been established and improved, there is a lack of a supervisory and executive department. To put it bluntly, there is a person who has a family law but does not have a family law. The system lacks its immediacy and effectiveness, and many jobs have not made mistakes according to the regulations. Many student cadres have begun to question these systems. In the next semester, we will establish a corresponding evaluation team to make the system work.

Second, the main student cadres still need to improve

The most important thing is that a good student cadre will always maintain a heart full of passion, never give up, and desire to succeed. Now some of our student cadres are low-minded, some student cadres are timid, and some student cadres are defeated by a small wave, so it is necessary to cultivate the healthy growth of student cadres.

Competency is important. A qualified student cadre must have the following three abilities: speaking ability, writing ability, and management ability. Many student cadres lack at least two of them when they take office. Lack of relevant training makes the student cadre warm-up process too long, and the student work progress is delayed.

A student cadre who cannot balance work and study is not a qualified student cadre. Excellent work ability and excellent academic performance are not a contradiction. Excellent work performance is not a tool to comfort your crying transcript at the end of the period. What our student cadres still need to cultivate is perseverance. What needs to be considered is the way to adjust work and study.

Third, the student union information construction involves

Information system is a tool for advanced and efficient management of information. It has the functions of information collection, processing, query, statistics, transmission and sharing, which can improve work efficiency and store valuable information. However, our informationization construction has been pushed back.
