Summary of the work of the Party Committee Organization Department
In the first half of 2005, the Party Committee Organization Department guided Deng Xiaoping’s theory of party building and the spirit of the 15th Party Congress, earnestly studied and implemented Comrade Jiang Zemin’s important thinking of the "Three Represents" and focused on the central task of creating a world-class university. In terms of the construction of party members, we have mainly grasped four links: First, we will make a good "entry" and do a good job in the development of party members. In accordance with the "16-character" policy of developing party members' work and the working ideas of "grasping the key points, strengthening training, and ensuring quality", we have studied and formulated the "Interim Measures for the Development of Party Members' Publicity System in Nanjing University" to further enhance public supervision and strict procedures. In the first half of this year, our school has developed a total of 509 probationary members, and the probationary party members have turned to 396.
With the goal of improving quality and strengthening party spirit, we will strengthen and improve the education and management of party members.
