What do you do when you don't want to do things?

What do you do when you don't want to do something? <br />We have had this situation: when you start a project, you are very excited, such as reaching goals or changing habits. We really want to succeed and develop a completion node. But many times, when the initial cheers calmed down, we lost our enthusiasm and felt that we didn't want to do anything.
This does not mean that we are all bad people and can't stick to the end. I think that many times we give ourselves too many expectations and set unrealistic goals and nodes. When you lose your enthusiasm and feel that you don't want to do anything, you should remember the following points.
1. Accept your imperfections. We are all human beings, we always make mistakes. This is also a good thing, otherwise how can we learn from it? Don't ask yourself too much. We are sometimes full of motivation, and sometimes we are just a little less motivated than when we are full of motivation. Listen to it, accept it, don't blame yourself, and move on.
2, starting from a small place. Sometimes you feel like you don't want to do anything because there are some obstacles that hinder your progress. Start small. Make a list and list all the things you can do on this list. Start by picking a small thing from the list, so that you are a small step closer to your goal. These things should be as simple as organizing your sportswear or sorting out the ideas you get from brainstorming. Unless your business goes well, you can find these little things to restore your motivation.
3. Think back to your motivation. There is a reason why you started to do something. Recall these reasons, these are the motives behind your struggle to a certain goal or change your habits. List your motives and put them in front of you so that you can think of your motives every time you see these reasons.
4. Reassess. When you see these reasons again, you may sometimes realize that your situation has changed. Your goals and plans may become less appropriate as your conditions change. If so, give up the goal. If the goal does not match you or your new direction of development, then there is nothing wrong with starting and ending. You are less guilty than giving up on you halfway through your blind insistence.
5. Grasp the direction. It is normal for power to rise and fall, and when it is strong and weak. The important thing is to grasp the direction. The farther you are from the right direction, the harder it is to return. Take writing as an example. If you don't want to write something, try a simple brainstorming. You may find new inspirations or modify the original draft. You don't have to think about getting a chapter or creating a new story in an afternoon. Do some small things, but you must grasp the direction.
6. Change the environment. If you suddenly feel that you don't want to do anything, try changing the environment. Are you writing in the basement? Try to get upstairs and sit in front of the bright window. Drawing in your bedroom? Try going to the garage or go to the fresh air outdoors. Just changing the place can inspire a lot of creativity.

What do you do to keep yourself going when you don't want to do anything?
