The problems like this are too numerous to mention. Although these situations are commonplace in remote rural areas, everyone has become blind, but it has prompted me to think seriously. In rural areas such as Shicun Village, where arable land is seriously lacking, the excessively dispersed living conditions of farmers who “have no family in the mountains” not only limit the intensive use of land, but also cause waste of effective land resources, and greatly increase the foundation of water, electricity and roads. Facility construction costs have even brought difficulties to rural culture, family planning, and comprehensive management work, making the situation that the empty nesters are left unattended, the left-behind children are unmanned, the public welfare undertakings are incapable, and the rural culture is very empty. This kind of experience makes me firmly believe that the emphasis on scientific development is not ahead of consumption in the current rural areas. Ignoring overall planning will reduce the living comfort and happiness index that farmers should enjoy, and may even restrict the long-term development of rural areas.
